Fang and I spent the entire day fooling around the city. It was nice to act like children, or at least like our age again.

Fang brought me an ice cream. The whole thing overflowed and dripped down my hand. Fang grinned and grabbed my hand gently, licking up all the ice cream.

"Ew, Fang!" I wiped my hand on his black shirt.

"You can lick my hand, if you like." he smirked. My eyes widened at the comment. Fang again grabbed my wrist and pushed the ice cream cone into my nose and mouth, covering it with the vanilla cream.

"Oh my gosh Fang, you are dead." I laughed a little before throwing the cone of ice cream into his face. He frowned, as the cream dripped down his neck. He smirked a little and walked up, trapping me against a park bench. His face lowered down and he suddenly started licking my face.

"Fang stop, that's so disgusting." my voice coming out muffled. I felt the laugh reverberate through him, as he licked the vanilla off my nose. I pushed him off me and grabbed his hand.

"You weirdo. There's a tap." I pointed across the park at the ancient, rustic bubbler. Fang was laughing behind me as I dragged him along.

"It was good tasting ice cream, though." he said, after I stopped dragging him and we were walking like normal people. I scoffed.

"I hardly tasted it before you shoved it in my face!" I exclaimed.

"Here, there's some still on my neck. Have a taste?" he asked angling his neck, his eyes twinkling with humour. I rolled my eyes, before surprising him by licking some of the ice cream off his neck. Fang shuddered, a playful and careless smile present.

"Does that tickle the big strong Fang?" I teased, washing some of the sticky substance off my face. Fang glared at me.

"No."

"Sure." I stood up, letting Fang use the tap.

"You guys are adorbs!" a voice said behind. A girl with bright pink hair stood behind us. Her hand was held by a boy's. The boy had a dark tan and blonde hair, and his eyes were constantly scanning the surroundings and his watch.

"Thanks?" I replied.

"I'm Felicity, and this is my boyfriend Jack. I'm assuming you guys are together too?" Felicity was an extremely talkative person, considering we had only just met.

"Yeah." Fang wrapped an arm around my waist. I felt some water droplets on my shoulder from Fangs still wet face.

"Listen, Fliss and I are going out to a club tonight. My mates own the place, and want a few more people to come, for popularity or something. Why don't you two come along?" Jack asked. I looked at Fang, who shrugged.

"Iggy can take care of the Flock." I nodded in agreement. A night out could do no harm.

"Sure we'll come." I replied. The sun was already setting, so Felicity and Jack led us down the streets to the club.

The pounding music could be heard a block away or so. Getting into the club was easy, with Fliss and Jack just waving a card in the face of the bouncers, making them step aside. When we stepped into the club, the hot and heated air fanned my face. The smell of alcohol and sweat floated throughout the room. Bodies rhythmically jumped to the music, bumping into each other.

"Is your phone on you?" Fang asked me, as we weaved through the crowds following the happy couple. I nodded. He kissed me quickly, before taking my hand in his. We arrived at the bar. Jack ended up ordering us all beers. I wasn't a big fan of alcohol, but I drank a glass anyway.

This many people all in one spot should make me feel on edge, but the happy aura of the content crowd settled my nerves. Besides, Fang and I both know what to do in any bad situation.

It was a couple hours later. Felicity and I had become good friends, mainly through her just telling me all about her and her life, and me listening even though I didn't really care. I guessed that was probably what being a good friend is about. I always remember seeing Angel listen to Nudge's rants when she and I don't really care, but Angel always listened anyway.

Jack had pulled Fang over to a group of his friends, and now they were gone. I knew they hadn't left yet though, and wasn't worried.

"Oh there's Jack, and Fang?" Felicity wasn't yet used to the peculiarity of Fang's name, which made me internally laugh a bit. I looked up to see Fang and Jack making their way over to us.

"You better take your boy home. He's a funny guy." Jack patted Fang on the back. Fang grinned.

"Okay we're going home now, Fang." he strolled over to me and engulfed me in a hug.

"Are you drunk?" I asked, pulling him out of the club. Fang stopped for a moment.

"I had one drink. Of course not." he scoffed. I rolled my eyes.

"Max I love you." I smiled to myself at the comment, as we walked into our penthouse. The door echoed throughout the stone stairwell as it shut. Our footsteps clicked on the floor as we made our way up the stairs. Once inside, I sat on the lounge, thinking over the day, as Fang got some water, or something

After pulling myself out of my thoughts, I noticed Fang had left the kitchen. I got up and poked my head into Nudge and Angels bedroom. Angel was sound asleep, and I ignored the light peaking out from under Nudge's blanket. Iggy and Gazzy were also asleep, both snoring contently.

Phoenix was asleep, in the same position that her Father usually sleeps in. Her arm was slung over her eyes and she was curled a little, the blankets messed up and her hair sprawled out on her purple pillow.

I finally made my way to Fang and I's room. The door was open a little, so I stepped in.

Fang was asleep, his shirt off and bawled in his grip. I smiled a little, and pried the shirt out of his grip, throwing it onto the floor near the washing basket. I chucked my shoes off and changed into a comfortable shirt and shorts and climbed into bed next to him.

He was going to be tired tomorrow.
