"You look amazing." Alexandra says as she looks at me trough the mirror. Cole invited all three of us to come to a gala with him. Apparently his father closed a huge deal, and Cole wanted us to be there and celebrate it with him.
"Thank you. You look amazing as well, and Louis is going to drool when he sees you." I tell her making her look down at her own dress. She is wearing a tight long black dress, and I am wearing a red one that is tight and short.
I don't think I have ever been to a gala. They certainly didn't have those back in the village, and if they did I weren't invited. I don't expect much to happen there, other then a lot of well behaved people talking about sophisticated stuff.
"Can we go already?" Louis asks trough the door. He finished getting ready an hour ago, but he should know better then to think that we would get ready in a few minutes. I didn't even know I had this red dress, but Alexandra knew, and I only assume she knew because she went trough my clothes one day looking for something to wear.
"Yeah, Yeah, We're coming." Alexandra answer before we open the door and step out. I'm not used to wearing such high heels, but if it goes with the outfit then I guess we have to suffer a little.
Louis mouth open as he look at the two of us. This is the first time we have dressed up this much, and I hope we didn't overdo it. "You two look.. ravishing. I mean wow." He says at complete lost of words making Alexandra blush, and me let out a small laugh.
"Thank you, Louis, but wasn't it you that wanted to leave." I remind him, and he snaps out of his thoughts, shaking his head.
"Right." He claps his hands before letting Alexandra put her hand around his arm. "Let's go." He says walking out of our apartment, and into the elevator.
As soon as we step out of our apartment building we are met by a huge limousine. The driver walks up to us, and opens the door to the limousine. "You are Miss. Tatcher, am I right?" He asks holding out his hand.
"Yes that is me." I confirm before placing my hand in his before he helps me inside the limousine. He helps the others as well, and it doesn't take long before we arrive by the building. It is enormous, and people dressed in all sorts of thing walk around with jewelry that most likely are worth millions of dollars.
Out of nowhere a pair of arms wrap themselves around my waist. I jump away in surprise, but the person hold me back. "I was starting to think you weren't coming." Cole's familiar voice says making me turn around in his direction.
"I wouldn't miss this." I smile at him. He leans down putting his lips on mine in a short sweet kiss. "I'm sorry we are a little late, but getting ready took a bit longer then we expected."
He looks me up and down with a smile, and hungry eyes. "It was definitely worth the wait, babe." He says giving me yet another kiss. Once he pulls back he takes my head and leads me inside the building. I see Alexandra and Louis walk in behind us before they disappear amongst the crowd.
We walk up to a man and a woman, definitely belonging to a higher class. "Mom, Dad, I would like you to meet my girlfriend, Mina." He says, and I feel my body tense for a second. Girlfriend? We have never discussed what we are yet, and he definitely didn't mention anything about meeting his parents.
His mother shakes my hand. "Pleasure to meet you. I'm Sarah." She introduces herself, but doesn't seem to really care. Her husband takes my hand as well seeming a lit more interested then his wife. "I'm Stefan, pleasure." He gives me a smile before letting go of my hand.
Music started playing, and Sarah decides to speak up again. "Cole why don't you take your girlfriend, and go dance." She waves us away with her hands, almost begin us to disappear.
Cole only nods before dragging us onto the dance floor. He wraps his hands around my waist, and I wrap mine around his neck. "I'm sorry for introducing you as my girlfriend before we have even talked about it ourselves first."
"It's fine I just wish you would have atlas warned me that I was about to meet your parents." I tell him. My eyes fall behind him to see Louis and Alexandra dancing as well, looking as happy as ever.
"I know. I didn't know if you would have come if I told you." He says for the first time sounding nervous. "Look, Mina. I really like you. I haven't felt anything like this before, and I know I have acted like a douche in front of your friends, but it is just because I was nervous." He says pulling me a little closer. This is the side of Cole that I started to like, and I am glad it is showing again.
"It's okay. It was the first times you met, and I know you will get along eventually." I reassure him, moving my eyes up to his. He smiles down at me happy that I understand.
"How did I ever get so lucky?" He asks me with a cheeky smile. "I don't know." I tease him moving my lips closer to his. He closes the space between us, and his lips covers mine.
He pulls back, and I am about to say something when someone walks past us. "I need to go, but I will find you again in a few minutes." He says walking after the person walking past us. I didn't see who it was, but it was most likely one of his business partners.
I walk over to Alexandra, and Louis, but for some reason I find Alexandra standing alone. "Where is Louis?"
She snaps her head in my direction before rolling her eyes. "I don't know, probably somewhere being a jerk." She says angrily.
"This doesn't sound good. Want to talk about it?" I ask seeing as we have nothing we are supposed to do, and sneaking of for a talk sounds perfect right about now.
"Yes, but not here. Can we go to the toilet" She asks, and I only nod before taking her hand and dragging her away. Thankfully there isn't a line to the bathroom, meaning there is hopefully no one in there, so we can talk.
I walk first using the door open, and I smile when it isn't locked. I take a step inside looking into the bathroom, but the sight before me makes me stop in my tracks. My mouth falls open as I can't help but just stand here and stare.
Cole rips his mouth of the other girl, and puts hers down. She adjust her shirt that has been pulled down, and Cole stares at me with wide eyes. "This isn't what it looks like." He says the line every cheating person says.
"Oh it wasn't? Because it certainly looked like you were just about to fuck another girl in the bathroom while your 'girlfriend' was standing out there alone!" I scream at his finally getting my body to move.
"Please don't be like that. It has been going on for a while anyway. I didn't know we were exclusive, so it isn't my fault." He says trying to step closer to me, but I push him away. I want to laugh in his face at how he is trying to remove the blame from himself.
"A little tips for the next time you are going to cheat on someone: lock the god damn door." I tell him before storming out of the bathroom with Alexandra hot in my heels.
"Wait, Mina! Where are you going?" She asks once she manage to catch up with me.
"I don't care, but I am certainly not staying here." I tell her, and she stops following me. I run out the doors, and rush to the street beginning to walk in the direction of our apartment.
