Lee Joon (MBLAQ) : Not Good Enough?

You were trying your best to focus on the show that you were watching on TV but the fact that Lee Joon has his arms around his ex-girlfriend right now. You chewed on your bottom lip as you try your best to not strangle him and his ex-girlfriend.

          Mir who was sitting next to you only gave you a squeeze as he held your hand. You look at him and gave him a small smile before turning back to the TV. You feel your stomach churns as your eyes met with Lee Joon’s intimidating gaze. He stared at you as if you were a criminal, you just shrugged.

“I’m gonna get some snacks..” Lee Joon said as he eyed you.

“Let me help you,” his ex-girlfriend said,

“No, it’s okay..________, do you mind giving me a hand?” He said, raising both of his eyebrows up,

          You nodded as you stood up, and when you turn to look at Mir, your eyes shifted to Lee Joon’s ex-girlfriend. That’s when you noticed that she was giving you a dirty look as you followed Lee Joon towards the kitchen.

“Is there something wrong?” Lee Joon said as soon as you walk into the kitchen,

          You stared at him as he leans against the sink. He sighed as he run his fingers through his hair as you stayed silent.

“You barely even looked at me…” He whispered as he cups your face,

“I seriously don’t wanna talk about this right now.” You said as you push his hands away,

“Good. Because I need to talk to him.” You turn around as you heard that voice.

          She smiled at you as she approaches Lee Joon. You had this strong urge to just spit in her face but it’s better to not do that. You turn to look at Lee Joon and he just nodded at you. You roll your eyes as you walk away from him,

“________?” Lee Joon called,

“hm?” You responded without  looking at him,

“I love you.” He said,

          Mentally, you wanted to jump and yell but on the surface, you could just look at him and smiled before walking out of the kitchen. You didn’t trust that ex-girlfriend of his because it felt like she was stealing him away from you. You sighed as you lean against the wall.

          You look at Mir in the living room who was so into the movie that was playing on the TV right now. But then, the hushed voices in the kitchen grew louder and you couldn’t help but just eavesdrop on their conversation.

“I don’t get it why you like her so much..She doesn’t even speak much…Is she just mute?” You heard her said,

“No, she doesn’t speak that often. Will you stop criticizing her?! You’re not  much better than her.” Lee Joon said,

“I am better than her. Look, I’m sorry for what I did, okay? I was just drunk that night, and no matter how hard I tried, I can’t get over you, Joon…” You heard her say, slowly.

“I love her.” He simply said,

“I know you don’t. You don’t treat her the way you did to me. You know the fans are right about her, look at her, Lee Joon! She has this bloated face and you’re way out of her league!” She continued,

          Those words cut you like knives. You brought your hand up to your face as the silence filled the room. You closed your eyes as you lean your head against the wall,

“You know what….maybe…just maybe, you’re right…”You heard Lee Joon said.

          That’s when you feel your heart dropped onto a rock. The hurt was simply unbearable. You could feel the tears were about to fall out as you walk away from the kitchen. You should’ve known that Lee Joon was too good for you. And sooner or later, he’ll break up with you just to be with his ex.
