Baek Hyun (EXO): Letters To You.

Byun Baek Hyun. Why did that name can never leave your mind? You knew how much that boy hates you and he’s your boyfriend. And again, he hates you. You tried everything to make him likes you…But it was all worthless. He’s your boyfriend just because of a bet he lost and you knew that very well.

          At first, you hated that he was using you as a bet. But day by day, you couldn’t stop the feelings that sprouted from your heart. Here you are, sitting in a café as Baek Hyun stared at you with those cold eyes. You always wondered why he hated you so much but it’s better if you don’t know why.

          The silence was adding more tension in the air as he stared at you. It was the first real date that you and Baek Hyun had. It was supremely weird that he had asked you out on a date…But what surprised you even more was that it had been two months since he was your boyfriend.

The bet that he lost says that he had to date you for a month. Only a month. And it had been two months and he still hadn’t break up with you. You were weird out by this and at the same time, happy that he hadn’t break things off with you.

Even though he didn’t do much as a boyfriend should, you still love him. You love watching him in class, watching him laugh, smile and talk….You wanted to tell him that you like him so much…But you didn’t want to swallow the bitter pill of rejection. You bite your bottom lip as the nervousness started to take over you.

“Why do you like me?” He asked as he leans closer to you.

          You gulped as your face flushed crimson red. You just shrugged.

“I didn’t say that I like you,” You said as you roll your eyes away from him.

“Alissa, you’re blushing like a red tomato and yet you still lie to me. You like me. Admit it.” He said, smirking at you.

“No, I don’t. Why would I like someone who hates me…” You muttered under your breath.

“Good. Because it’s easier for me to break up with you. No hard feelings, right?” Baek Hyun said simply as he sipped his drink.

          You looked at him, eyes wide. Baek Hyun stared at you and you blinked. So, this was it. This is what the first date was about. Your gaze was dark as you look down on the table.

“Yeah. No hard feelings….” You mumbled.

          Then, you heard the sound of his chair screeching against the floor. He pats your shoulder as he leans down to whisper in your ear,

“You’ll find someone someday…But it’s not me…” He said,

          And with that, he walks out of the café. Leaving you alone as your heart breaks into two. You scoffed, how could you be so stupid to think that this would be the start of something new for you and Baek Hyun when this was the end of you and him.

“Alissa?”

          You looked up and saw Se Hun smiled at you, he was dressed in his work uniform with a bouquet of flowers behind his back.

“Hey…I thought you didn’t work here anymore,” You said, wiping off the tears that you hadn’t notice away.

“Well, I’ll be quitting this job after I done my personal job. Now, don’t cry and read these…paper flowers…? Ugh, whatever…Just read it, kay? And I promise you that you won’t be crying anymore~” He said as he sets down the bouquet on the table.

          You took the bouquet and it wasn’t flowers…It was…Papers that was folded into a form of flower. You look back at Se Hun, he pats your head and smiled at you before he left. There was 7 flowers and all of them was in the colors of rainbows, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet. You wiped off the remaining tears with the back of your sleeve as you took out the first paper flower. It was red…Slowly you opened the flower carefully, trying to not rip it off.
