U-Kwon (Block B) : Rage pt. 2

You smiled as you watch Yeon Ji, your baby girl wrap her little fingers around your thumb. Her eyes twinkled as a toothless smile form on her baby lips. Your life had been better since Yeon Ji was born into this world. And U-Kwon was the best husband and father you had ever asked for.

          Although he was busy with the upcoming album, he would still come home to see his baby girl and you. But it has been 3 days since he last came home, and you were worried about him because he hadn’t call you or text you for the last 3 days. You sighed and stood up with Yeon Ji in your arms, walking to the bedroom.

          It was way past her bedtime, and you needed to sleep, too. Yeon Ji was the one who kept you company when U-Kwon wasn’t in the bed with you. You hummed to your favorite song as you lay Yeon Ji on the bed, you went to the kitchen for a while to make a bottle of milk for her.

          But when you walk into the bedroom, you find Yeon Ji had fallen asleep. You smiled as you climb onto the bed beside her. You wrap an arm around the baby and pull her closer to you as you feel tears coming out of your eyes.

          You miss U-Kwon so much…And you were sure that Yeon Ji was missing her daddy too.

          You woke up as you heard the front door slammed open. You turn on the bed lamp as you carefully tuck Yeon Ji in. Slowly, you walk to the bedroom’s door and opened it,

“U-Kwon?” You called and you immediately saw a figure walking aimlessly into the living room,

          You rushed to him and wrap his arm over your shoulder,

“Jagiya…Do you miss me?” He slurred,

“U-Kwon, have you been drinking??” You asked as you could smell the alcohol in his breath.

          He just laughed as he falls down on the sofa, you stared at him. Your anger fueled as he smiles at you with eyes half-closed,

“Don’t you miss me? I miss you so so much….I want you, please…” He slurred again,

          You push his arms away from you. You really didn’t expect U-Kwon coming home, drunk. He stares at you and you look at him before letting out a sigh,

“Where have you been?” You asked as you sat down next to him,

“Working…” He said as he leans to kiss you,

          But you dodged it quickly and he groaned,

“You haven’t been home for 3 days, U-Kwon!” You said as you turn to look at him.

          You watch as he leans back on the cushion, sighing. And he glared at you,

“I’ve been working my ass hard for you and the stupid baby! Do you know how exhausted I am!” He yelled,

“Stupid baby?” You gasped, and he let out a frustrated yell,

          You stood up and and glared at him,

“That stupid baby you called is YOUR OWN DAUGHTER, U-Kwon!” You yelled at him with tears brimming your eyes,

“I don’t even know if it’s my child!” He yelled at you,

          And then, you heard Yeon Ji cried,

“Aish!!! Will you shut that little brat up!”

          You gave one solid glare at him before walking into the room, angrily.

“I thought you changed, U-Kwon…But I guess I was wrong.” You said before locking the door behind you.

          You lean your back against the door as you sob in your hands. Yeon Ji’s crying didn’t stop as you look up at her. Her little arms were flailing in the air. You sniffled as you wipe your tears away.

“Yeon Ji, what’s wrong?” You said softly as you pick her up from the bed.

          You continue to rock her in your arms as you hush her. It was only in the matters of minute when Yeon Ji had finally fallen back to sleep. You  kissed her forehead before putting her back on the bed. You looked at Yeon Ji, wondering if U-Kwon really loves her and you…Maybe you should’ve just leave him when you had the chance…

          You slowly opened your eyes as you heard voices from the living room. The sunlight shines through the white curtains and into the room, blinding your eyes. You yawned as you sat up on the bed. You looked to the empty space next to you. Yeon Ji wasn’t there…Your little baby girl wasn’t here!

          You panicked as you look around the room,

“Yeon Ji?!” You said as you immediately stood up,

          Your head shot up when you heard a laughing sound from the living room. U-Kwon. Your heart was beating fast as you thought of the worst scenarios that could happen to your little princess. Abort it or I will kill it! Your mind went back to when U-Kwon had first found out that you were pregnant.

“Yeon Ji!” You called and as you walk into the living room, you saw him…and your princess.

          But U-Kwon seem like he didn’t notice that you were there as his back was facing you,

“Yeon Ji~ Do you miss Appa??” U-Kwon said as he rested his chin on the baby’s small lap.

          Yeon Ji smiled that beautiful smile as she touch her Appa’s face. U- Kwon sat on the floor, while Yeon Ji was on the sofa. U-Kwon chuckled,

“How come I haven’t seen you smile like that with me? Appa miss you too, gong ju…(Princess)” U-Kwon said slowly.

          You watch as U-Kwon brush her cheek…

“Yeon Ji, Appa dangsin-saranghae…(Appa loves you) And I love your omma…But I know Omma hates me because I’ve hurt her a lot….If she ever leaves me..tell her that I love her so much, okay? And remember that I love you…And take care of her, okay?” U-Kwon said, slowly.

          You bite your lip as you heard his voice croaked. That wasn’t true…You never hated him…No matter how many times he had hurt you, you still love him. Your love for him was never less, it was always more. Yeon Ji looks at her Appa and when she saw you, she giggled.

          You smiled and brought your index finger up to your lips, telling her to be quiet. U-Kwon buried his face in his princess’ lap. You slowly approached U-Kwon from behind and sat behind him,

          U-Kwon’s body jerked with shock as he feels a pair of arms wrapping around his shoulder, he sniffles as he turn to look at you,

“I never hated you, U-Kwon…I love you…How many times do I have to remind you that? I love you forever and always, U-Kwon-ssi…” You said and he smiled before he kisses your nose.

“I’m sor-”

“I know…It’s okay…You were drunk..” You smiled at him.

          He stares at you before placing Yeon Ji on his lap as he turns to face you,

“How can you love me?” He asked.

“I don’t know…But what I know is that I love you…” You said as Yeon Ji held your fingers.

“I love you too…I love you so much…And I love our little princess too…” He said as he press his lips on Yeon Ji’s forehead.

          You smiled as you lean forward to kiss him and almost immediately, he wraps an arm around you. You knew no matter how many times you fought and argue with him… or how many times he had hurt you…Without a doubt, you love him…And he will always love you too…

That what makes your marriage with him so much stronger than before.
