Chen/Jong Dae (EXO) : Trust and Migraines.

You stared at the pen in your hand as your vision was slowly blurring. Your head was throbbing with pain as you dropped the pen and clutched your head. You leaned back against the soft cushions of the peach colored sofa in the living room.

          Lately you’ve been having these major headaches and it was killing you. You couldn’t do anything perfectly with these headaches taking your focus away. You groaned as you look at the stacks of papers on the coffee table, your undone assignments.

          You heard the front door burst open and you immediately stood up and turned around.

“Jong Dae!” You exclaimed as you watch Chen closed the door behind him.

“Why are you so shocked to see me? Were you expecting someone else?” He snapped at you,

“No…You’re home early…Why are you being so snappy?” You said as you furrowed your eyebrows.

          Chen scoffed as he rolls his eyes away from you. You jumped slightly when Chen threw his bag on the floor, making a loud slam sound. He scowled as he turns to face to me,

“I’m sick of hearing your lies anymore! Tell me the truth!” Chen yelled and you didn’t dare to take any step further.

“What are you talking about?” You said, confused with his sudden outrage.

“Are you seriously gonna act all innocent?!” He yelled as he ran his fingers through his hair,

“Jong Dae, I seriously don’t know what you’re talking about.” You said calmly,

          Chen dashed towards you with his anger burning in his eyes. You took a step and he pinned you against the wall,

“You think I don’t know that you’ve been cheating on me!” He hissed at you and your eyes widened,

“Wha….Jong Dae, I’m not cheating on you.” You whispered,

“You think I would believe your pretty lies?! __________, I saw you with another man at the coffee shop this morning!!” He yelled in your face.

          You stayed quiet. You never went out with another man other than your boyfriend that is Chen… Hell, you didn’t even come out of the house all day long!

“Jong Dae, I didn’t even went out of the house today…Maybe you mist-”

“Don’t lie to me! I know that my eyes were not lying to me like you did to me!” He yelled,

“Stop yelling at me!”

          You yelled as you feel your head getting heavy. Chen took a deep breath as he closed his eyes. You groaned as you feel your vision blurred once in a while before you could finally adjusted to the beautiful of your lovely troll in front of you.

“Don’t you trust me at all?” You whispered,

“________....” Chen called,

          But as you try to hear what he was about to say, every sound was blocked. You couldn’t hear anything but all you could see was Chen with his worried face and before you could even fall, you feel his arms pulling you closer to the fragrant scent you’ve always grown attached to.

          Your eyelids fluttered open as bright lights blind your eyes. You groaned as you brought your hand up to your eyes, covering your eyes from the blinding light.

“________?”

          You heard that troll’s voice ringing in your ears. Your hand groped around you to just feel him close to you.

“Chen? Where are you?” Your voice croaked,

“I’m right here, baby…Didn’t I told you to stop calling me Chen? It’s Jong Dae, ______-ah…” He scolded as he wraps his fingers around your frozen cold hands.

          You didn’t realize how freezing it was to you until the moment his warm fingers intertwined with yours. You tried to open your eyes but the light was burning your eyes.

“Jong Dae..I can’t open my eyes..It hurts…” You whispered.

          You didn’t know what Chen was doing until you feel soft and warm flesh against your closed eyelids. He was kissing your eyes…You smiled and you could smell his sweet breath on your face.

“Why don’t you try to open your eyes, now…” He whispered in your ear.

          You slowly opened your eyes and all you saw was that beautiful dinosaur-like face  smiling at you with red and puffy eyes.

“Chen….My Jong Dae…” You whispered and he chuckled.

“Hey…How are you feeling?” He asked as he stroked your cheeks,

“A little light-headed…” You said slowly as you sat up on the bed.

          Chen smiled at you as he sat down on the space beside you, facing you. You looked around to find yourself in a hospital room. You look back at Jong Dae with a questioning look,

“What happened?” You asked, and he sighed…

“You fainted…The doctor said that you had a terrible migraine..” He explained as he scratched the back of his head,

          Your mouth formed an ‘O’ as you nodded your head, understanding the whole situation..So, it was not a normal headache after all…It was a migraine, a stupid migraine.

“How long you’ve been having these headaches?” Chen asked as he tucks a strand of your hair behind your ear.

“A……Uhhh…A few days…” You murmured and he immediately pinched your nose.

“Why didn’t you tell me!” Chen scowled as you rub your nose and pouted.

“I thought it was a normal headache, so I thought it wouldn’t be important to you. I didn’t know it could be worse like a migraine…” You mumbled and he sighed.

“Yah, _______...I don’t care if you have a little headache or just a little scratch, just tell me okay? I thought I killed you with my words…” He said.

          You smiled reassuringly at him before silence took over between you and him. He kept staring at you with those wild eyes…

“I didn’t cheat on you.” You said and he just looks at you,

“I would never ever cheat on you, Jong Dae. I would never do anything that could hurt you…Please believe me..It wasn’t me, I was in the house all the time with the migraine. I don’t want anyone else but you…I never cheated on you…I love you too much to do that…” You said as you stroke his hair and down to his cheek.

“I know…I’m sorry…Maybe it was just someone else…I’m sorry for accusing you, I’m sorry for yelling at you and I’m sorry for everything…It scared me when you just dropped in my arms that way, and I knew I couldn’t lose you…I love you.” He said as he rested his forehead against yours.

          You smiled before he pressed his lips against yours. You moaned at how his lips were perfectly molding in with your own lips. He wraps his arms around you as you wrap your arms around his neck, playing with his hair at the back of his head.

          Trust was no. 1 in a perfect relationship. It was obvious that it was missing in yours and Chen’s relationship but after this whole migraine…It had become a perfect relationship. Your dinosaur trust you and most importantly…..He loves you.
