NOTE: I think one of the reasons I didn't want to update the story is because I'm a little unhappy with the way I wrote this one. Like when I was first writing it I was all into it, and now rereading it for the 15th time I'm insecure about it...anyway. I promised to update all the chapters, so here ya go.

Ch6

She had been placed in his office. Drinks and snacks were given to her, she wasn't chained or cuffed. Besides stripping her of her weapons, they treated her like royalty. Maybe that's because to them, she was. "What's in that book?" She thought. What kind of power does she possess, if any?

Leeway entered the office holding a box and the book she saw in the casement.

"What's that?"

He set down the book and stood in front of her as guards came into the room. "Cuff her to the railing." He ordered.

"What?!" Bella began to protest just as giant hands wrapped around her arms. She looked up to see the giant holding her. "Hoo...Okay. Cuffs it is."

The guard cuffed her to the railing on the wall. Leeway approached her as he opened the box. He held out the diamond to her.

"Why did you chain me?"

"Well I had to make sure you weren't going to steal it." He stepped closer, pressing the diamond to the back of her hand. The sudden touch burned her skin.

"Ow!" She yelped and flinched away.

Leeway's eyes grew in amazement. "Can you imagine the power these two wield together Vladimir?" The giant nodded in agreement. "Enough power to light up a whole world...or better yet, destroy it."

The two men began to laugh. Bella struggled to break free of the chains, but

it was no use, and struggling would only cause her harm. Or worse, cause harm to Blakely.

"I want to see my sister."

The men stopped their laughter. Leeway narrowed his eyes at her and pursed his lips. "Why?"

"Because I miss her." She said, thinking it was the most idiotic question in the world.

He let out a sigh. "Very well. Vladimir will take you." He placed the diamond in the box and set it on the desk as Vladimir unlocked a side in the cuff. When she wasn't chained to the wall he chained her to himself. "Don't go getting any funny ideas." He warned in his thick Russian accent.

"Wouldn't dream of it." She said bitterly. She could try to fight him, but ultimately she would only hurt herself. A man as big as that would crush her. Of course, the bigger they are, the harder they fall.

Vladimir and Bella walked through the halls. She needed a plan. She had to find Blakely and Luke, free them both, grab the book and the diamond, destroy the place and grab Leeway. She needed a solid plan that was effective, but she couldn't do it alone. She had to do it without setting off Leeway, because if she did she could cross rescuing Blakely and Luke off her list.

They went through another sliding wall, opening into another long windowed hall. Just on the other side of the bridge she saw Blakely walking around her room.

"Blakely!!" Bella shouted as she started to take off, but Vladimir's weight held her back. "Come on!!!" She urged. "Would it kill you to show me some compassion and release me?!" She pleaded, her eyes begging. She heard the banging on the glass walls behind her. Blakely was calling for her.

Vladimir sighed and took out the key and unlocked her cuff. He swiped his key card into the slot and the door slid open.

"Bella!!" Blakely shouted as the two locked into a tight embrace.

"I was so worried about you!! Are you okay?! Did they hurt you?!" The questions spilled from her as relief struck her.

"I'm fine Bella...is...Travis?"

"He's fine."

Blakely sighed in relief. "Thank God."

"Let's go." Vladimir said in his deep baritone voice.

"What?" Blakely looked at her, panic spreading over her face. "You're leaving?"

"I'm being held hostage...don't worry. You're going to be fine...I promise."

"Let's go!" Vladimir demanded, locking her wrist in the cuff.

Bella and Blakely hugged once more before she was dragged out.

As the doors shut behind them and they walked through the empty hall, Bella was desperate for a plan. She looked down at her cuffed wrist and Vladimir's obnoxious hand size. Just beside his hands were the loops of his jeans. His key card was attached to a cord. The cord; that was her plan for the moment. She had no time to create a full proof plan. She had to wing it. In one swift movement, she grabbed a hold of his key card and stuck her foot out in front of him. He staggered forward, just enough for her to climb on his back and wrap the cord around his neck. She pulled tightly on it, hoping she could close the windpipe easily. "Come on! Come on!!"

Suddenly Vladimir slammed her up against the wall. A yelp escaped from her throat as her head crashed against the light fixture. Her body limped and the cord released from her grip and she crumbled to the floor.
