Chapter 4
We can never finish the chapter on school time since we only have one lesson to do that. So we has to write it on our spare time.
"You can come home with me so we can finish it", I tell Iza as we walk out of school. "It will be nice to have it done, don't you think?"
"Yeah it really would", she says.
Girls are looking our way. They give me looks and drools while they look at Iza like they want her to disappear from the face of the earth.
Pathetic if you ask me. Just because Iza is nice and talk to me, and doesn't drool as soon as she lay her eyes on me, or talks in a high pitched voice as soon as she talks and doesn't make a fool of herself when I walk by. She's normal. And I like that. I don't like girls that chases after me, I don't like that at all, they seem to needy.
I've learned how to get home from school with buses and need to switch once but that's all.
I show Iza the way to my house and it only takes about forty minutes to get to my house. But ten of those minutes we need to walk from the bus station to my house.
"Yeah well here it is", I say and walk in on the yard.
Iza doesn't say anything, so I look back.
She stands outside the yard and looks at the house in disbelief.
"What?" I ask.
"You never told me you're rich", she says, looking at me.
"Well, to be fair, I'm not, my parents are rich", I say, smiling. "And besides, that's not something I walk around telling people".
"No that's probably true", Iza shrugs and walks up to me. "But trust me, others would do just that, so that gave me a whole new level of respect for you Jay".
I smile.
"Wanna meet my little sister, I think she just came home from school as well", I say. "She would love you, I'm sure of it".
"Yeah I do", Iza says excited. "Does se look like you?"
"No she looks like our father, and the twins like our mom, I'm the only one that is a mix of our parents", I chuckle. "I don't really know why though".
I put the key in the keyhole and open the door.
"Hey I'm home", I shout as I close the door behind Iza. "You can put your shoes and jacket here, and your bag if you don't need it".
She nods.
My mom come down the stairs and to the hall.
"Oh hello", mom says when she sees Iza and smiles big.
"Oh hello Mrs. Forest", Iza says polite as she looks at my mom in awe.
What's up with her? Why that look?
"Mom this is Iza, Iza this is my mom Monica", I say, introducing them to each other.
They shake hands.
"I just ... Have anyone told you have incredibly beautiful you are?" Iza asks my mom.
At first I think she's joking. But the tone of her voice and the look she gives my mom tells me she's serious.
"No one other then my husband anymore", mom laughs and smiles big at Iza. "But thank you so much".
"Mom where's Jocelyn?" I ask.
"In the kitchen, doing her homework", mom answers and I lead Iza up the stairs towards the kitchen.
Our kitchen is placed on the second floor, and the big living room and a big bathroom as well.
