Chapter 16: Angry

Chapter 16

I seek through the whole house. I go into every room, and walk down to the basement.

But I can't find them. I can't find Iza or the sick man.

Where are they?

"Mackenzie they're not here!" I say.

"I know, he have driven away with her", Mackenzie says apologizing.

"Where too?" I ask her.

"The lake", she asks.

I fly up through the hole I made in the roof. Maybe I have to fix this hole later, it's my fault.

I fly along the road, seeking the car.

I listen with my ear after voices I recognize.

"You won't get away with this!" I hear an angry voice.

Iza.

Then I see the car.

I fly faster so I end up before the car.

I lower myself down and stand on the car roof.

I sit on the roof until the car stops when I jump down.

The door opens from the wheel side.

I take the man and smash him against the car.

"And you where going to do what with Iza?" I roar in his face.

I feel the adrenaline rush through the veins in my body as my protective instincts takes over my actions.

He was about to kill Iza.

"How are you?" Mr Bibo asks trying to get loose.

The thing is that even without my powers, I'm stronger then him, because he's pretty bony and weak. So he should just give up already.

I knee him in the stomach.

"You know me! I'm friends with your son you sick sick man!" I shout at him.

I knew him again and he looses his breath for minute before I knee him again.

I can't stand the thought of what he was about to do. He was about to kill Iza. What if I had been too late? This is what I'm talking about, I can't lose he.

"Jaydin!" I hear Iza shout. "Jaydin how did you..."

I give her a knowing look that tells her to be quit and she shuts up.

She comes up to me with a rope and I tie his arms with his legs.

I put Mr Bibo in the back if his car before I close the door.

"Jaydin..." Iza says.

I turn to her. I'm angry. She put herself in a lot of danger. Why the hell did she do that? I've already told her that it's dangerous.

She has a cut on her lip and eyebrow, it flows blood from them and red marks on her arms and her hair is messy. This sick man has beaten her up.

"Why did you do this?" I ask her. "Why did you go there?"

"I... It's Jake's dad Jaydin", she whimper.

"I know that, did you think that I wanted it to be?" I ask. "I care about Jake too, but that has nothing to do with it".

"I'm sorry, I just wanted to help, I thought that because he know me that he wouldn't do anything to me", she says.

"This man is sick Iza, it doesn't matter if you know him or not, you exposed him, if course he would make you shut up somehow", I say. "But you any can't do that! What would you have said to the police if you came to the police station with him? 'My boyfriend talked to a ghost who told him who killed Mackenzie Woods and five other ten year old girl and where he lives', you didn't think this through Iza, I could end up in a lot of trouble!"

"I'm sorry", she says in a small voice. "I'm so sorry".

I sigh and pull her too me.

"It's okay, I was just so scared that you would die", I say. "You can't ever do this again".

"I promise I won't, I so promise", she says.

"Good", I say and pull away to look her in the eyes. "Because I don't know what I would do if I lost you".

"You won't", she says and puts her warm lips on mine.

I kiss her and feel so relived that she's okay.

I pull away and take up my phone.

I make my phone anonymous and call the police station. I make my voice sound different when I tell them where to find the killer and what they will find on his backyard.

I take Iza's hand and we start running away from the car.

"Wait Jaydin, can't you fly?" Iza asks.

I smile.

"Jump up on my back", I say and she do.

I fly up into the sky and Iza starts to laugh.

I think we're getting a call very soon from Jake. Poor Jake.
