Chapter 15: Iza?!

Chapter 15

Standing in the shower. Iza is still asleep. She was really tired yesterday, so I guess that's why she sleeps so much today.

I don't know how to go home to Jake and do what I'm about to do. If I'm lucky he will believe me, or at least hear me out and go dig up their whole backyard. If I'm unlucky, he'll tell me to go to hell and end out friendship forever.

I turn off the tab and wrap the towel Iza gave me yesterday, around my wrist. I put in my pair if boxers and walk into her room again.

I take off the towel.

She has pulled the cover over her head. I smile. She's so cute.

I lay down on the other side of the bed.

"Are you awake?" I ask. I get no answer. "Iza?"

I shake her but it doesn't feel like anyone is lying there.

What the hell?

I pull off the covers, revealing four pillows under it. What the hell?

And her parents isn't even home. Her family went out of town a few days.

I pull up the door.

"Iza?" I shout.

I don't get an answer.

I run around in the house. I can't find her anywhere.

When I run out into the hall I notice that her shoes are gone.

Fuck! Where has she gone?

"Jaydin!"

I turn around.

Mackenzie is standing there with a scared facial expression.

"Why do you shower for so long?" She asks. "She had time to go!"

What?

"What do you mean?" I ask.

"Why did you leave the paper out?" She says.

Oh no...

I run up the stairs and rush into Iza's room and up to the desk.

"Fuck!" I yell.

The paper is gone. I swear that she was awake when I talked to Mackenzie and she took the paper and she recognized the address.

How could I be so stupid?

"Is she on her way there?" I ask.

Mackenzie looks at me.

"She's... With him", she says. "Alone".

"Mackenzie! Go see what they're doing! Where are they?!" I panic.

"Okay okay, hold on", she says and disappears.

I throw on my clothes and take my bag before I run down to the hall again to put on my shoes.

I run out and starts walking as fast as I can.

Mackenzie shows up walking beside me.

"They're in his home but his family is not home, she just confronted him", she says worried. "This is not good Jaydin, he punched her".

And this is when my feet leave the ground and I start flying. I don't know how fast I fly but it really is fast.

"Jaydin people can see you", Mackenzie shouts at me.

Not for long. I make myself as one with the air, empty myself of all the feelings in my body and be like one with the clouds. This is when I see my hands disappear and I know that I've made myself invisible.

"Wow Jaydin", Mackenzie says.

I see the house I'm aiming at and I start to fly even faster. I don't know how fast I fly. I put my arms as a shield over my head and before I know it I crash though the ceiling and land on the floor easily with my feet.

Wow I'm really getting good at this.

Now I have to find Iza.
