I had a dream
Of you last night
Heart was beating
Fight or flight
Your beautiful body
And beautiful face
But I was a disaster
A complete disgrace
I was covered in blood
And my makeup smeared
The sky was crying
Red tears
We were at the carnival
And it was very dark
And on your arms
Were deep deep marks
I took your arm gently
And gave them a kiss
But you pushed me away
And punched me with your fist
I fell down crying
And you said "sorry boo"
Then you helped me up
And I said I love you
But you just rolled your eyes
And turned away
You began to walk off
And I asked you to stay
I started running
To get to you
I asked to hold your hand
You slapped my hand away too
I kept asking
Holding my hand out
But you said no
And went about
You walked to fast
I couldn't keep up
I was falling behind
Like a lost little pup
Suddenly a girl
Appeared next to you
And then another one
Your expression was new
You started to smile
At the beautiful girls
You took their hands
Left my mind in a swirl
You talked to them
And I kept yelling your name
Crying out to you
Like your someone of fame
You didn't hear me
It was like I'ma ghost
I just wanted to tell you
That I loved you the most
But then you disappeared
Into the shadow of the night
I tried to look for you
But there was no light
I turned back around
And the carnival was gone
Nothing but darkness
Not a touch of light at dawn
I was scared and confused
Sitting in the dark
No light to be seen
Not even a spark
I started to go crazy
Hearing voices in my head
I woke up crying
And fell out of bed
But it was just a dream
He'd never hurt me
