Okay so. This isn't another chapter of You Could Have Stayed. This is just a little story I got inspired by some speculation I saw on Tumblr about Emma being pregnant in season 6. Okay I said little but it's almost 2000 words, I got carried away.

"She thinks she can hide from me?" Gold seethed. The Evil Queen sat idly by watching him pace after their...activities. He had tried to check on Belle but his crystal ball couldn't find her anywhere.
"It doesn't matter." The Queen purred, rising to her feet to rub his shoulders. "You need to wait until the kid is born before you do anything anyway."
"Yes but if she left Storybrooke then how can I use the shears on him?" He pulled away from her and stormed over to his cabinet of ingredients. He pulled out bottles and powders while she watched idly, not that concerned.
"An attraction potion? Rumple you know those don't work like you'd expect them to." She laughed.
"I don't want her to find me attractive Your Highness, I just need to attract her to me." He walked to a locked cabinet and carefully removed a blanket. It was Baelfire's when he was just a baby.
"You are going to attract the child to you?" The Evil Queen raised her eyebrows. "Smart, then she won't know you used magic."
"Oh yes she will. When she gets here she will know because until she touches this blanket she will still feel pulled to me and she doesn't want that."
"You do realize this won't just bring her to you, it will bring any pregnant woman in Storybrooke here."
"Well it's fortunate I only know of one or two and those can easily touch the blanket and be sent away until Belle appears." He poured the pale grey potion onto the blanket, the fabric shuddered and laid flat on the table, glowing ever so slightly.

"What's wrong, love?" Killian put his hand on Emma's shoulder when she suddenly jerked like she was about to throw up. They had been having lunch at Granny's.
"Nothing. I feel like we should go check up on Gold, make sure he's not doing something...evil." Emma blinked, not sure where the urge had come from but she had learned to trust her instincts.
"Can we not finish our lunch first?" Killian laughed as Emma stood up and grabbed her keys, eager to go.
"Have Granny bag it up, she knows we'll come get it." Emma said simply and started heading out. He scrambled to tell Granny and catch up to her.
Already being close to Gold's shop, Emma paused and looked around. Four other women were coming towards the shop, one of them from the Land of Untold Stories, two of them Emma barely recognized and the last was Belle. She had her lips pursed and her brow furrowed, her hand on her slightly rounded stomach.
"Belle!" Emma hissed and she looked up. "You're supposed to be on the Jolly under my protection spell why did you leave?"
"I just...I need to talk to Rumple." She said vaguely.
"About what?" Emma asked as they both started moving towards the shop again, Killian catching up to them now with that adorable confused puppy face.
"I'm not sure." She paused and grabbed Emma's arm, halting them both. "I think he's using magic on me, Emma you have to go in there with me."
"Yeah. Sure. I was just heading to check on him anyway." They started walking again and made it through the door just after the other 3 women. Rumple laid eyes on Belle immediately before glaring at Emma and Killian.
Each of the women walked up to the counter, talked to him for less than a minute before walking right back out. Strange.
"What have you done Rumple?" Belle asked flatly, her hand back on her belly.
"I should have known it was the Savior's doing." He sighed and pulled something off the glass in front of him and crumpled it in his hand. Emma was intensely intrigued and Belle seemed to focus on it too until she turned her angry face onto Gold again.
"That didn't answer my question. What have you done to me? Why am I here?" She smacked her hand on the table and Emma's focus on the thing in his hand was broken momentarily, Belle didn't do stuff like that.
"Well pardon me if I care about them welfare of my child. I couldn't see you so I had to make sure you were okay." Gold said with fake sweetness.
"Oh yes, he was very concerned." The Evil Queen sighed as she came from the back room of the shop.
"Of course you were with her." Belle scoffed. "Take whatever spell or enchantment you have on me off right now Rumple."
"Ah, no." He sneered. "I think I'll just keep you here."
"Gold." Emma said firmly, he lifted an eyebrow at her. "I can just figure out how to break it if you don't. We always find another way just make it easier on everybody."
"Oh but there isn't another way, dearie." He smirked and lifted his hand up, catching Emma's attention again. "The only way to break it is to touch this and I don't think I'll be handing it over for the next, say, 6 months?"
"Do you hear that?" Emma whispered to nobody in particular.
"Hear what love? The crocodile's grating voice?" Killian rolled his eyes.
"No, not that. It sounds like a baby crying." The sound had been there since she entered the shop but now that the fabric, a blanket, was out in the open it was like the baby was right there with her.
"I hear it." Belle said through clenched teeth between her rants at Gold.
"Oh you hear it Miss Swan?" The Queen's grin was wolfish. "What an interesting turn of events. Did you hear that Rumple?"
"I did your majesty." Gold looked Emma up and down and smiled.
"Why is this suddenly about me because I hear some baby crying. Just hand over the damn blanket." Emma's hand started to shake but Killian grabbed it in his and laced their fingers together. The shaking stopped.
"Congratulations Captain." The Queen purred and ran her fingers down his shoulders as she circled them.
"What?" He asked incredulously. He really had no idea what's going on.
"Paws off Queeny." Emma snapped and she made a fake pouty face.
"Let me tell you what exactly I did to this blanket here. I did indeed enchant it but not to bring you to me, to bring the child to me and he certainly can't get here himself so here you are." He smiled at Belle, she practically had smoke coming out of her ears. "But there was a minor inconvenience with this potion, you see I didn't have anything of yours since you were with child so I had to use something that touched an infant and modify it a bit. This was Baelfire's." He looked at Emma with that grin now, she stared back.
"Cut to the point, Gold." Emma demanded.
"The minor hiccup was that since it wasn't something of Belle's it brought all the pregnant women in Storybrooke to me. Those women who came in before you weren't quite sure why they were here but they touched the blanket and went on their merry way."
"You can't mean that-" Killian started to speak but Gold cut him off.
"I certainly do mean it, dearie."
"The savior's having a babyyyy." The Evil Queen sang and cackled.
"Ha ha, very funny." Emma deadpanned, glancing at the scared pirate behind her.
"You don't believe us?" The Queen gasped. Emma rolled her eyes. "Touch the blanket and see if the crying stops. It will. That's how you know." She breathed into Emma's ear. Emma pushed her away with a sparking white hand. The Queen pouted again.
"Just give me the blanket and quit playing games." Emma snapped and held out her hand, the shaking was back but she tried to keep it under control.
"Since things have changed, I suppose I could." Gold said simply and dropped the blanket into her hand. The crying stopped and Emma shuddered. She met Gold's eyes and she saw triumph. No way.
"Belle, touch it." Emma said and handed it to her. She shuddered.
"Emma, the crying stopped for me too." She whispered.
"Yeah well the Dark One likes to lie. Let's go." Emma said harshly and walked out of the shop, Belle calmly followed after but Killian had to jolt back to life before he followed after her, refusing to look at the Dark One.

A week had passed since Gold's little show and Emma hadn't been the same ever since. She talked to the other women who had gone to the shop and they all were pregnant and they knew it.
Belle had been poking Emma to take a test, she didn't really know what they were but she knew they could tell you if you were going to have a baby. Emma was in denial. She doubted that she was pregnant but if she was, it could not be a more horrible time. She was going to die soon at the hand of some faceless villain while her family stood and watched. Including Killian, who could be a father.
Killian. He had been distant since that day, only interacting with her 3 or 4 times a day. When they went to bed, when they woke up and the odd moment here or there trying to figure out how to destroy the Queen without killing Regina. She hasn't really paid attention to him when the evil little duo had dropped the bomb on them, too distracted by the blanket and Belle and the flashes of her death that rolled through her head constantly.
"Fine!" Emma shouted, her coffee cup went flying across the room and she groaned.
"I'm sorry Emma, I didn't mean to make you mad." Belle said quietly and started to leave.
"No, Belle, wait. Since Killian is nowhere to be found I need some moral support for this. It will take a few days for the results to come back though." She smiled at Belle and started leading her to the bug.

"Killian." Emma said softly, they were laying in bed together a couple days after her test. He was pretending well but she knew he wasn't asleep. "Killian I know you're not asleep. And I know you've been avoiding me."
"I've not been avoiding you Swan."
"You know better than to lie to me Killian." She laughed lightly. He didn't respond. "I had a pregnancy test. Do you want to know the results?" There, it was out in the open. He could take it or leave it.
She heard him turn towards her so she turned to face him too. She tried to remain expressionless as he scanned her face, eventually meeting her eyes with the tiniest nod.
"They were right." Emma held her breath. Her whole body relaxed when he cracked a small smile. He wrapped his good arm around her and pulled her to him. "Well, I'm glad you're happy but I'm going to die soon remember?"
"Shhhhhh," he soothed and started to rub her back. "This just gives us more incentive to find a way to save you. Without the shears." They sat in perfect silence for a couple minutes before Emma spoke again.
"I hope it's a girl."
