I simply believed Trent was different. In the beginning he showed me he was. I was being naive but I had just broke up with Shawn & would do anything to make the pain go away and then here comes this gorgeous boy & he tells me that I'm beautiful. He looked at me the way Shawn use to.

Talia laid next to me on the phone with her boyfriend Aaron.

Someone knocked at my front door & as I got up I prayed it wasn't Trent.

I looked through the peep hole at it was Shawn. I opened the door slowly.

"Can I come in?"

I stepped aside so he could come in.

"Cam, who was..."

Talia came down the steps & stared at Shawn.

"i'm sorry. I could go."

"No. Faye I'll come back later Aaron wants to meet."

I nodded, Talia placed a firm hand on my shoulder.

Shawn & I sat down on the couch. I sized him up. His deep dimples showed as he bit his lip thinking of what to say.

His light brown eyes & caramel skin. His eye brows were perfect. I forgot how fine he was.

"I heard about Trent. Cameron I'm sorry about all the bullshit that I put you through."

"Shawn, please."

"No Cameron just listen. If I got you back, I wouldn't miss a thing. Like the small blonde hairs on the back of your neck. Or how your right temple throbs when you're angry or in deep thought. And how calm you get when you're really excited. Like right now. That is very sexy how slow you're breathing."

"Shawn, I'm pregnant with his baby for god sakes."

"Cameron, if I cared about any of that I wouldn't be sitting on this couch right now. Cameron I don't give a damn about whose baby it is. I will raise it like my own...that's if you let me. Once upon a time we were best friends, I'm just trying to get back to that. Just let me be here for you as a friend."

I looked at him

"Shawn, I don't know ."

"i'm willing to go through whatever it takes."

Shawn's phone vibrated, he looked at me then at me. I smiled & nodded.

"Yeah? I'll be there in a minute."

"Can I come back over later?"

I nodded & went out the door. Since I was already dressed I decided to go pick up Dre.

I walked upstairs & Dre was in his room cuddling with Amber.

"I can see you two are busy, but quite frankly I don't care. You wanna go see a movie?"

"What movie?" Amber asked

"Yeah, I wasn't talking to you."

"Cam!"

"Already told her to only speak when spoken to. She know better."

"At least I'm not pregnant at 18."

"Listen hoe, I'm grown. You lost your virginity at 12 to your sister's boyfriend so before your nasty ass try to get slick with me make sure you aren't a hoe. Now get the fuck outta my house before I call someone over here to beat your ass."

She gasped and left.

"DeAndre I already told you about bringing hoes in this house."
