Cam's Pov
I stood up as the nurse approached me. My heart was racing & by the look on her face I could tell her news wasn't good.

"Mrs. Martin, your husband crashed twice while in surgery. But he's stable now & the doctors are monitoring him very closely. He asked for you before we had to put him out. You can go in & see him if you like but he's under some very heavy pain medication."

I sighed in relief & followed her to see him.

I walked out to get a snack only to see Aubree in the waiting room talking to Trent's nurse. I'm ready to slap this bitch. Who the fuck does the hoe think she is?

I walked up to her & she gave me a little smile.

"Wipe that smile off your face before I do it for you Aubree, just because I'm pregnant doesn't not mean that I won't drop your scrawny ass right here"

Aubree stopped smiling & walked over to the chairs & motioned for me to take the seat next to her.

"Listen I don't know how you found out Trent's here or why you are here but I'm about 5 seconds away from choking you out. Looking at your face disgusts me."

"Cameron please, just listen to me. 5 minutes. That's all I ask."

"2 minutes & then I'm walking away."

"Cameron I know sorry isn't going to fix this. I've known Trent for years, since middle school. My brother is Lawrence. He's the one that told me Trent was here. I love him Cameron & I know you don't wanna hear that but your life is supposed to be mine I'm supposed to be riding around town with him. It was supposed to be me having his child. You lost a child? Well me too Cameron. You ain't the only one Trent got pregnant. Once upon a time I was walking around looking like you. You got everything I was promised, everything I wanted. Trent told me he loved me & I believed it. And I'm the reason you lost your son. I'm so sorry, if I didn't tempt Trent to cheat none of this would have happened--"

"That's enough Aubree."

"Please let me finish"

I stood up & slapped her, "don't ever mention my son again. Watch your back Aubree & tell your brother to do the same."

I walked away & called my Dad's friend YK

"YK I need you to ghost two people for me."

"Give me their names & it's a done deal princess."

"Aubree & Lawerence."

"Say no more."

Someone tapped me & jumped up. I looked at Trent he was still sleeping, I then looked at the person who tapped me. It was Sheila, Trent's mom. She looks good. I smiled & stood up to hug her.

"You look good Sheila."

"You do too Cameron, how is our boy?"

She went over to Trent & kissed his forehead. I could tell she was upset but she tried not to show it. I couldn't image what she was going through.

"He's doing okay the doctors said. The police said the crash was really bad. The car flipped 3 times & Shug is gone. Trent wasn't wearing his seatbelt & he was thrown 30 feet from the car."

I began crying, "I'm sorry, but I can't lose him. My God I can't lose him. Not him."

I went over to Trent & climbed in next to him & laid my head on his shoulder.

"Trent please baby, we need you. I don't wanna imagine a world without you in it. I can't-- I will not live without you. You are the love of my life. You are the other half of me."
