We Need Each Other

Gone

I woke up to Shawn's voice. He sounded angry, I sat up & looked at him. He hung up the phone & smiled at me.

"Goodmorning lovely."

"Morning Cam."

"Did I wake you?"

"Kinda but it's okay."

"How about I take you to go get some breakfast at Ria's."

I nodded and went to go shower. I came out Shawn kissed my forehead & walked in the bathroom. My phone started ringing it was Talia.

"Hey hon. Wassup?"

"What are you doing this fine morning?"

"Shawn & I were heading out to go to Ria's."

"We have to talk. Call me when you're leaving Ria's."

"Okay."

I hung up & got dressed.

Shawn came out got dressed & we left.

We got in the car & pulled off down the street.

I plugged my phone into the aux and then all of a sudden I felt my head hit the window & my body lunge forward.

Everything went black....

I woke up in a white room feeling groggy. I could barely open my eyes but I could see. I looked over to my right to see my mother sleep in a chair. I touched her softly & she woke up.

"How long was I out?"

"Baby I'm so glad & it's only been a couple days."

my father & Dre walked in the room. Dre sat next to me

"hey sleeping beauty."

I smiled, my dad came & kissed me on the forehead

"How you feeling princess."

"Groggy. And my head hurts a bit."

Someone knocked at the door, it was Shug & Trent. I turned away as Shug kissed my forehead.

"Where's Shawn?"

"Baby....he's gone."

I looked at her slightly alarmed. "What do you mean gone?"

"He died in the accident."

"Where's my baby?"

Trent sat down next to me as no one answered my question. I threw the covers off my body & my once round hard stomach was now soft flat & pudgy.

I cried harder. Trent got up & Dre laid down with me, I cried into his chest.

"Dre make them all leave."

Everybody walked out

"Cam, I'm so sorry."

I stopped crying & looked at him.

"Don't."

Trent walked back in

"Cameron."

"Trent you don't have to be here. I have nothing to say to you."

"That was my son too."

My eyes became wet again.

"We had a son."

Talia came through the door crying, I cried harder. She hugged me tightly.

"The doctors said you can go home tomorrow."

I didn't say anything I just looked at Trent. Trent caught my drift & walked outside with Talia. My mom walked in.

"Your father & I have to go home & get a few things but we'll be back. Trent & De'andre are going to stay with you."

I nodded. I looked over at the night stand. A bag with Shawn's stuff. I reached over & grabbed it. I pulled out his wallet. I opened it & a picture of us fell out. I brought my hand to my face & started crying

Dre came & hugged me. I was losing my mind. I didn't know how to deal with this. Trent came in & sat on the other side of me.

"Cam. I'll do

"You'll do what? Huh, go get the person that did this? Revenge is the last thing on my mind Tre."

"I wasn't going to say that. . .I'll do whatever you need me to do to keep you comfortable."

His phone started to ring. We both looked at the caller-id. It was Aubree. I rolled my eyes. He hit the decline option.

"Trent, you do not have to be here. Your hoe wants you so please leave."

"I'm not leaving."

"Trent I don't want you here! You're so good at leaving why won't you leave now?"

I just wanted to get something out since its been awhile
