Something like love

chapter 10

I woke up with scott laying in my hip and brooke laying on my side.

"How?" I ask myself

I get up and go take a shower, after i was done i opened up the door and ran to my room and shut the door quickly. I dried off and put on a pink and white stripped thin sweater, with some bleach ripped skinny jeans and pink leather flats, and i put my hair in a loose bun. I walk back down stairs, go to the refrigerator and take out three apples, the bag of grapes and take the box of slim jims from the top cubord above the fridge.

"They thought i didnt know" I say and bring all of my food to the couch and sit down and turn on the TV, "The poptarts! How could i forget" I say and run back to the kitchen and get them and i run back to the living room to see Scott with a mouthful of slim jims and a hand shoving grapes into his mouth, and has his eyes glued to spongebob and laughing occassionally at the corniest of jokes.

I slip out of the back door and head for the woods behind my house, i don't know what i keep going back there for on a count that i almost got raped in there but it just feels like i have to be there, like i have to find somthing but it just hasn't been found quite yet. I dont go far into the woods this time, so i feel safe and lay down on the ground and look through the opening between the trees above me.

"You shouldn't be here after what happened yesterday" I hear him say.

"That was you wasn't it, dereck?" I say and get up to face him.

"How do you know that" he asks and a smirk slid around half his face.

i don't know why but i thought it was hot the way he smirked at me like that and it was bothering me. I felt my cheeks start to tingle "Well you kinda just told me that it was you, i wasn't certain but now i know" I said to try and get the focus off of me. "Why did you do it, why'd you save me?" i ask him

"I don't know, I just, I don't know really why i did it" He says, puts his hands in this pockets and looks around

I walked up to him so that we were face to face, I leaned in closer to look deeper into his eyes

"That doesn't seem to help me very much" I say quietly.

I hear a low husky growl coming from him, he quickly clears his throat and takes a step back I step back as well. I don't know what got into me, somthing so different happens when im around him. I hold my arms and look down so i won't see the look that he already has on his face.

"Why did you do it" I say quietly.

"Because i saw you in pain, and i dont like to see you like that and--" He says but the last part i couldn't hear.

"and what. you can tell me" i say in a soft voice.

"And it made me angry to see another guy touching and handling you like that" He said and growled at the ground.

Truthfully i didnt know how to answer that, my heart felt like it was in free fall, him looking at me like that with those deep blue eyes, and that smile, wait why is he smiling?

"Why are you smiling?" I ask he walks over to me and looks down at me.

"You're so adorable when you blush" He says and chuckles.

"I'm not blushing" I say and look away.

"Then whats this?" He says and puts his thumb on my cheek, it felt like my cheeks where burning.

I stepped back and touched my cheek where his hand was, he stepped closer and i stepped back again and he followed, I tried to step back again but he had me cornered against a tree. He put a hand next to my head  and a hand on my waist.I think he felt the heat comming off of me at that moment because he smirked at me then blew on my neck  which did send chills down my spine.

"you're so pretty" he said and leaned into my face.

I heard a loud growl from the side of where we were standing, Oh shit. Not just brooke but scott and riker and they all were bearing their teeth at one person. Dereck. I heard him growl back loundly and pull me behind him, brooke snapped at him , and started to charge.

"NO" I screamed and jumped in front of him.

I know she didn't see me and that was okay because scott jumped infront of her and growled so loud that it shook the ground. She stopped in her tracks, she looks over him and sees my face and she backs away scott snaps at her and she runs up to join riker.

I turn around to see a grey wolf behind me in the place of dereck,

"Dereck?" He looks at me then straight back at them "These are my friends, my family" I say and rub behind his ears, he looked at me then at them then back at me, He rubbed his head agaist the side of my body, Scott stepped forward and Dereck growled "They just want to smell you and get your scent".

 I said to him and he stepped forward and let everyone but Brooke smell him, they acted like they were afraid that they would get each others cooties. Dereck trotted back over to me, he looked me deep in my  eyes and takes a deep breath in then trotts away leaving me there with my guardians.

"Sooo how was everyones day?"
