I woke up feeling wonderful. Nothing hurt anymore, all of my bruises were gone and my skin was as clear as day, all my bandages we're off and the brace on my ankle gone. So i decided to get up and put some clothes on so i can go outside. I put on a white spaggetti strap tank top with a hot pink lace floral shirt, dark blue jean shorts, pink sandals, and acouple wrap around braclets with spikes on them. Then i french braid my hair into a cute side braid then put on a cute hot pink head band.
I walk down stairs and call out to my mom "Mom im going out!"
"Okay hun just be home by four, you have to get ready" She calls back to me
"Okay" I say and walk out of the door
I start walking over to brookes house which isn't that far from mine, just five blocks
When i arrive at her house Riker, Austin, Anjelica,Morgan, Tess, and Nathan were on the porch and they all got up and ran and hugged me. I burst into laughter, and almost fell over.
"Hey guys i miss you too" i say "Where is brooke?"
"Shes inside with scott" Riker says
"She refuses to come outside" Tess says
"She says that there is no reason to" Nathan says
"Well i'll go get her myself" i say and walk into the house "BRRRROOOOOOOOOOOKKKKKKE!!!" I yell at the top of my lungs "Get your booty down here so i can hug you!"
She sticks her head out into the hallway from the kitchen, looks the opposite way down the hall then turns her head and looks at me. A smile so big streaches across her face so fast i thought it would go off her face to show its full length.
"DESTINNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNIE!!!!!!!" She screams and runs towards me, then jumps on me and hugs with me with so much force we fall on the floor.
"Imissedyousomuchithoughtilostyoubutthenyouwokeupandiwassoreleivedbutthenigotsadbecauseicould'ntbetheretohelpyouwhenyouneededmesoileft"
she said that so fast...
"Thats okay, im just glad to see you right now" I say and hug her tighter
"well, you know just what to do to turn me on" scot say leaning aginst the hall
"SCOOT!!!" I yell, get up and hug him as tight as i can
He hugs me back just as tight "I missed you" He says
"Come on guys lets go have some fun, i only have two hours until i have to get ready, you guys too"
"Oh yeah"
"Right"
"So lets go" I say and pull them both out of the house
we all pile into scotts truck and turn the radio and roll the windows all the way down
We ride into town and hit up Dave&Busters. We Grab a booth in the back of the building I sit in the middle of everyone.
"Oh i gotta pee" I say and climb over everyone to get out of the booth
"Really destiny?" They say annoyed
"You guys weren't movin fast enough" I say and start walking towards the bathrooms
When i finish using the bathroom, I see him, getting a drink from the water fountain.
"Dereck?" i say and walk over to him
He looks up at me confused "Uh yeah?"
"I've misssed you, i wasn't sure about us , like if it really happened but know i know for sure" I giggle and hug him tighter.
"I don't know what you're talking about, i don't know you" He says and pushes me away
"Wh-what are you talking about?" I say confused, how could he not remember me, or us?
"Who are you?'" He asks "How do you know my name?"
"Are you really asking me this?" I say getting alittle embarrased, i'm pretty sure i have the right guy. Same deep blue eyes, same pitch black hair, same athletic build, same little faded scar under his eye.
"Hey babe, whos this?" A girl with wavey blonde hair asks and wraps her arms around his waist and gets on her tip toes to place a kiss on his cheek
"No one, just a mistake" I say a pang of hurt hit me in the pit of my stomach and a lump formed in my throat, i walked away
"Oh okay then" I Hear her say
i get to the table feeling the lump grow larger and larger everytime i keep pushing the tears back, turning into pain
"Can we go now" I say not looking them all in the eye, afraid that if i do the flood gates would open, espeacially if i look at brooke
"why? we just got here" I hear scott say
"Im just tired" I lie
Whats really wrong?
I hear brooke ask me in mind talk
im tired i lie again
Im comming with you
i don't answer for a bit
Okay
she looks at scott and he nods his and kisses her. She gets up and walks with me outside and down the street to the beach we walk on the beach silently for a moment.
"Whats the matter" she asks
"Dereck" Is all i could get out befroe my tears start to fall
She grabs me and hugs me
"Who's that?" she asks
"Right who is that" I say and laugh
"What?"
"What?"
"Huh?"
"I don't know"
"I don't know, but i know that im freaking hot" I say and run into the cold water and scream and run back out
"No stay in and take it like a man!" she yells and pushes me back in and i hold on and bring her in
"Ahh thats freakin cold! Jesus!" she screams and starts to run out of the knee deep water
"No stay in and take it like a man!" i yell and tackle her back into the water
We stay and play in the water then get out and sit on the sand for a while, then we walk around for a bit.
"Its three thirty we gotta go" brooke says and taps my arm
"Oh yeah, lets go" I say and get up
Brooke called scott and he picked us up and drove us over to my house then went back to his place to get ready
We walked into the house
"just in time, i thought i was going to have to go and sniff you guys out" my mom says and lgives us both kisses on the forehead
"were here now" I say
