Maybe I was to harsh to her, I say to myself.
"What's on your mind bro?" My sister asks.
"Nothing" I say and grab my jacket and keys and head for the door.
"Where are you going?" She asks as I walk out of the door.
"Don't worry I'll be right back" I say and hop into my truck, I can't hear Destiny at all its like she's not even here or something, I've never not felt her, even when she blocks me out I still feel her. I'm worried. I start my car and rip out of the driveway and head straight to her house. I stop at the front of her house and hop out of the front seat, run up to her door and bang on it.
"I'll shoot you if you bang on my door like that again" she says as she opens up the door.
"Where did you go?" I ask.
"What do you mean?" She asks and leans on the doorframe.
"I didn't--" I start to say something but I saw a flicker of color change in her eyes, Shifter. I grab it by its throat and pin it against the side of the house.
"Where is Destiny?!" I shout
"Dead" it laughs.
I tighten my grip on its throat my wolf just wants to break its neck but I need to know where she is "Where is she?" I say through my gritted teeth.
It squirms and gasps for air in my grip, scratching and trying to loosen my grip. It changes into its natural form.
"Deliah?" I say.
"Dereck!" She gasps.
"How could you?!" I shout as my hand shakes on her tiny throat, she squeezes her eyes shut as blood oozes out of her mouth.
"I-I c-an h-help you f-find her" she gasps.
"How do I know that j can trust you!" I shout.
"P-promise" she gasps.
I drop her before she blacks out, she falls to her knees gasping and coughing while holding her throat. I stand over her and tell my wolf to be calm.
I pick her up "Where is she, tell me or I swear I'll kill you".
"They have her, t-the rouges have her" she stutters.
"Who?" I ask.
"J-Jace does" she says
