Chapter 20

I Stayed up all night getting used to my wolf form, I Felt more powerful when i was in my wolf form and the voice in my head is freakin awesome! she tells me everything and what to do, shes like my bestfriend! But anyway i still haven't found a mate yet. Jace keeps following me around everywhere, can't he tell when a girl is not interested anymore? But Dereck , My wolf gets so happy when she is around him, I can't help but have flashes of me kissing him when i look at or think about him. I lay on my bed looking up at my now Purple ceiling of my mew room in my new house and try to think of how i really know dereck.

"Destiny. I like you."

"I know."

"No. You don't know. I really like you, God who am I kidding? I freaking love you. I love your smile and the way you laugh, the way you walk is just so cute, everything. I love you and everything about you."

"I don't know I mean- I just- I've heard that story before. I just don't know if I can trust it again. I'm sorry."

"Its okay. I will prove it to you. I will find a way to prove to you how much I love you." The determination and sincerity in his voice scared me a little, so I just nodded. He pressed his lips to mine and I accepted the kiss willingly.

I gasped and sat up with a jolt, I had another flash back or whatever, I felt so real like it really happened to me. My lips tingled as if he just kissed me right then and there. I let out a sigh and let myself fall back onto my purple and white bed spread. I told my whining wolf that we were gonna be okay. Suddenly i got a burst of energy and i ran into my bathroom and took a quick shower and dried off. I wrapped the purple towel around me and walked into my big walk- in closet and got a black leather jacket, a long black V neck shirt, black leggings that had a gold leather trim up the sides, a gold hoop earrings, gold spiked braclets, black high heels and I blow dried my hair, flat ironed and curled it. Then i put my clothes on and put on my make up. I put on black eye liner and mascara and just a little eye shadow, don't want to look like a racoon, so i put on some gold on top of it. i put on some natural lipstick on and walked downstairs. I climb into my gray ranger rover that has purple and black interior. and drove out of town to a teen club called JoJo's thats hidden under what used to be a kids arcade in my parents day. I get out of my car and walk up to the security guard and let him check my bag before i go in and pay for my ticket. "What's Hatnin'" by Justin Bieber was playing loud through the huge speakers , i walk into the crowd and sway my hips side to side with the beat. Alot of guys turn to watch, so i give them some thing to watch. I slowly bend down and snap back up, rolling my body. I roll my hips and put my hands above my head, arms wrap around my waist and pull me closer. I try to pull away but they tighten their grip

" Let go of me!" I shout

"Mate" He says while rubbing his nose against my ear

"No! Let go!" I push him back and he stumbles away but comes back to grab me again but another hand beats him to it. It pulls me to the crowd and outside. I use most of my streangth trying to get his hand off of my wrist.

"Stop struggling" He simply says and tugs on my wrist until we are outside

I rip my wrist from his hand and give him a nice punch in the chest

"I can see how i deserve that" He says while holding his chest, trying to catch his breath

when he looks up i take a step back

"Dereck?" I say and breath deeply

"yeah" he says and flips the fallen hair out of his face

I didnt get to say much before I heard the door to the entrance open and slam shut. I would be lying if I said I didn't know who it was. A shockwave of energy hit me from behind and surrounded me. Dereck only took two long strides before he had his arms wrapped around me protectively  and starts walking me towards his car and about to open the door for me but got pulled away from me and restrained by two large guys who looked like rouges. A large guy with energy so strong started walking towards me it made me back up into the car. He grabbed me by my waist and pressed my body against his, I tried to push myself away and beat on his chest but even my new strength couldn't help me now. I screamed when he started walking away with me, rubbing his nose against my neck saying mate over and over. Another energy filled the air, but this one was much stronger.  I look around and find the two big guys that once restrained Dereck were on the ground faced down, and an angry grey wolf In the place of Dereck.  He growled loudly and bared his teeth, his paws scrap st the ground beneath him. The one who held me captive set me down gently and swiftly shifted while charging at the grey wolf. I watched as it all unfolded, I watched as the grey wolf gained control and snapped the others neck. I sat there In shock as the wolf licked some of the blood that was dripping from his mouth. He trotted over to me and shifted. There stood a naked bloody Dereck, he pulled me up from the ground and put me in the car. I looked out of my window the whole time and didnt say a word, and neither did he. He drove down the road for a long time, and taking evergreen trimmed side roads until we came to a large grey lakehouse.
