I woke up and the moon was streaming in my room through my curtains. i thought about Dereck and what happened yesterday. I put on an old t-shirt and curled up in my covers and drifted off back into sleep. My birthday was only two days from now.

I woke up with Brooke standing over me and angelica, riker, my mom and dad were all in my room. My mom was gently dabbing my head with cold damp cloth
"Hey, You're awake" Brooke says and sniffles, rubs her eyes then rushes out of the room.
"What? Whats happened?" I say and sit up in my bed
"You have been in a coma for a whole week" My mom says softly, her eyes red and puffy. I knew she had been crying
"But you're okay now baby" My dad steps to the side of my bed and rubs my hand
scott wakes up and looks directly at me. I smile and he gets up and walks out of my room.
"Whats happened? Why are you all here?" I Say, my voice is so quiet i couldn't bring it up from a whisper.
"You were attacked a week ago, by an unfimiliar pack they stabbed and beat you pretty badly, they left you in an abandoned alley half dead. Luckily Riker and scott found you, you could have died." My Mom says and takes my fathers hand.
"But we found who those mongrels were and punished them" My dad says and kisses my forehead.
"What?" I say confused, not really grasping the situation with both hands.
"Get some rest hon, you're birthday is tomarrrow" My mom says and kisses me and walks out of my room hand and hand with my dad.
"Riker" My dad calls and riker gets up and walks out of my room closing the door behind them.
I can't believe that happened, I don't remember a thing. I get up and go to the bathroom i look at myself in my full body mirror. white bandages are wrapped around my ribcage, a brace on my ankle, another bandage wrapped around my wrist. With additional healing sratches and fading bruises all over my face and my body. I walked back over to my bed and curled up into the covers.
Was everything i experienced just a dream? Was Dereck a dream?
