Chapter 36

"Look who finally came to grace us with his presence" My captor snarled out.

"Can't find your own mate huh Nixlon, have to go and kidnap someone else's?" He growled out.

"Hmm, last time I checked you could hardly keep your mates alive" My captor who's name is now Nixlon said, grabbed my neck and squeezed so hard that my vision went totally black for a few seconds and I screamed.

"Let go of her right now" He said in a cold tone.

"Ooooh Dereck I think that scared me a little bit, not" Nixlon laughed mockingly.

"I'm not going to say it again" Dereck says slowly losing his cool, his whole body starts to uncontrollably shake, his bones crack and shift until there is a huge angry black wolf in front of me.

"None of your whores were up to my standards anyway" Nixlon threw me off to the side and charged at Dereck, biting, ripping and tearing at his skin, leaving me there gasping, shouting for someone to unchain me.

Dereck ran towards me but Nixlon dragged him down pinning him to the ground, digging his long, sharp claws into his chest. Dereck gave him a swift hard kick to the face with his hind paws, before Nixlon could react Dereck was already on his feet, grabbed him by the neck and slammed him into a nearby tree. Dereck charges at him, shreds and bites at his red coat, whipping him back and forth in his jaws. Nixlon swipes up with his paw and leaves three deep slashes across his face and stains his black coat with red. He reaches up and yanks Dereck's front leg and he goes down in a loud yelp. Nixlon gets up with blood seeping from his wounds and relentlessly bites and yanks at his leg Dereck whines and yelps louder every time he bites.

"Stop!" I shout and pull at the burning silver on my wrists.

Dereck snaps at Nixlon and he pushes his head into the ground, roars in his face, bares, and licks his blood stained k9's. Nixlon brings back his head and before he can kill him a gray and white wolf crashes into him and tackles him to the ground by the neck and quickly snaps it with a loud, dangerous growl.

"Dereck!" I scream. I look in shock at the unmoving black wolf on the ground. I pull and tug at the chains with all my strength. "Come on!" I scream, the gray and white wolf snaps the chains from my wrists and immediately race over to Dereck.

"Dereck, baby open your eyes," I say calmly "Baby, don't leave me, come on come back now," He lays there still and unmoving "Dereck" I whisper, trying to hold back tears.

Help, guys I need you. I say in mindspeak.

Dereck slowly changes back to human form. His blood covered body still unmoving sent my body on full alert. My heart felt empty, like there was a chunk of me that was no longer there. The pack ran over to us lifting Dereck off the ground, a shock wave of worry rushed through me when he didn't make a sound. I turned around to see Bruiser standing behind me with her dress in shreds around her body.

"I've been waiting so long to do that" she says shakily.
