Winter Soldier
I was laying on my "bed", thinking about what Jace said to me yesterday.

He actually trusted me. No one trusts the Winter Soldier. No one. So why does he trust me? Why?

That wasn't the only thing that was on my mind.

What is my real name? It can't be the Winter Soldier. Could it? I don't know. I can't just ask. They'll think something is up. Maybe even wipe me for it. Why would they wipe me for asking for my real name? Maybe torture me. That will just make me tougher. Torture isn't the word for it. It's more like learning from your mistakes the hard way. They'll probably just stop me from training Jace. Then they would train him like they did me.

No. Don't do that. Make sure that never happens.

Another random thought came across my mind.

Make sure that never happens.

The same thought played over and over again in my mind. I had to make sure that never happens. If I do, some part of me will hate myself.

Then Karpov unlocked my door. "Time for day six." He said as I made my way to the hall.

We made our way through the almost empty halls to the training room.

After a few minutes, we made it. All I had to do now was wait for Jace. Soon after, a guard dropped Jace off.

"Hey." He said when the guard left us alone. "Hey." I said back. "So, what are we going to do today?" He asked, putting his hands in his pockets. "Today, you're going to learn how to use something else besides your bare hands." I answered. "A gun?" He asked, enthusiastically. "No, we're going to start with a knife." I said, pulling out a Mark ll.

"Is that a Mark ll?" He asked with wide eyes. "Yes." I answered. "Cool." He responded.

"This is how you flip a Mark ll." I said. Then I did a quick flip. "Whoa." He mouthed. "Your turn." I said, handing him the knife. "But I don't know how to use it." He said, rejecting it. "That's what today's lesson is." I said and put the knife in his hand. "Take this and I'll use this one." I continued, pulling out another Mark ll.

"Always have a good grip on it. You don't want to lose it during a fight." I said. "And when you go for the attack, aim for the stomach or heart area first. You also have to be-"

"Fast. Yeah I got that." He finshed for me. "Exactly. And sometimes you have to do the flip. It may be hard, but soon it will be in one quick motion." I said as a did another knife flip.

"What if I stab myself while doing a flip?" He asked. "You don't do it close to you. You do it in front of you. Plus on your first few tries, there's a possibility that you might cut your hands. But it'll be fine." I reassured him.

"Are you sure?" He asked. "Positive." I said. "Ready for step one?" I asked. "I guess." He answered.

"Well, we might have to postpone that, I'm afraid." Strucker said as he walked into the room. "Mr. Pierce needs Jace right now." Strucker continued.

Jace grabbed his bag and looked at me. "Bye, Winter." He whispered so Strucker wouldn't hear him. "Bye." I whispered back. Then Strucker sent him out.

"And for you, Pierce wants you to get prepared for your next mission." Strucker said to me and followed behind Jace.

Then Karpov came in. "You heard the man. Let's get you ready." He said. He gestured for me to leave. I obeyed and left, heading to the room where I usually gear up in.

Hear we go again.
