Winter's Father

Chapter 20

                        Jace
   "What the?" The man driving asked, surprised.

   I knew that he was going after me so I also knew that he was going to shoot. I jumped out of the way of the bullet. Black Widow was next, so she jumped up front with Captain Rogers, and pulled him away from his. She also knocked the driver away from his, too.

   Then the Winter Soldier tore out the steering wheel. The car was uncontrollable now. So Captain Rogers gathered all of us in his arms, and knocked the door off. We started sliding across the highway.

   The man fell off and started to roll off in to a different direction. When we stopped, we quickly got up.

    One of the Hydra agents gave the Winter Soldier a grenade launcher, and shot at us. Captain Rogers moved us out of the way. Then he blocked the grenade with his shield, throwing him off the bridge.

   "You got to get out of here." Black Widow said, as she loaded her gun. "I can take care of my self." I retorted back. "This isn't a game. I'll distract him while you get out of here." She replied before she took off and jumped off the other side of the bridge. The Winter Soldier shot a grenade at her, but missed.

   "I'm not leaving." I said to myself and grabbed a gun out of my bag.

   Why do I even have this? Where did I get this? It doesn't matter now.

   "Hey!" I shouted, ducking back down behind a car. The Winter Soldier started to walk towards me. I jumped up and shot his goggles. I took off after that.

   I actually hit him. I can't believe I actually hit him. That's a first.

   He ripped his goggles off, angrily.

   " таке царе оф тче саптаин. и чаве чим." Take care of the Captain. I have him. He said to the Hydra agents as they handed him a different gun.

   The man found a gun and started to shoot at Hydra agents. That gave me enough time to find Black Widow.

   "What are you doing? I told you to get out of here!" She said. "Well, I did hit him." I said, bragging a little. "Don't get all excited about it. You just made him madder." She replied. "How do you know how to use a gun, anyway?" She asked. I just shugged. I'm not going to tell her anything.

   She was right, though. He was mad. He started shooting at us. "Move!" She yelled. We ran down the street.

   "Go find Steve. He'll get you out of here." She said as she shot back at the Winter Soldier.

   "I don't need no one's help!" I shouted back.

   "Get out of the way!" She yelled as she pushed me into the ground. Then she got shot in the shoulder.

   After she was down, he came after me. I pulled out my gun and started to shoot at him. He dodged the bullets, or he just blocked them with his metal arm.

   "Shoot." I said as I realized I was out of bullets.

   This was it. He had me here. I had no weapon to defend myself.
   Then Captain Rogers rammed him with his shield. He was occupied after that. They threw punches left and right.

    The Winter Soldier pulled out a Mark ll, the same one he used to train me. He started to slash it at Captain Rogers, doing the knife flip he taught me. He got closer and closer to his face.

   Captain Rogers threw his shield at the Winter Soldier's arm, causing it to put a dent in it. That caused him to drop his knife.

    That just made him even angrier. He kicked the Captain's gut, which caused him to drop his shield. Then the Winter Soldier grabbed it and started to use it as a weapon against the Captain. He started to hit him with it, and kicked him again. That time he flew into a side of a car. The Winter Soldier dropped the shield and came for me, again.

   I saw the Mark ll laying in front of me. I quickly grabbed it and walked towards him, too.

   He threw a punch, but I dodged it. When I bent down, I cut his leg, just a little. He kicked me in the chest, knocking me on the ground.

    I quickly got back up and started to slash the knife at him. He blocked every one of them. He even tried to take it from me, but I kicked him in the knee.

   Then, he punched me in the stomach, really hard. I fell, and I couldn't get back up.

   As he went to turn, Captain Rogers knocked him in the mouth, causing his mask to fall off.

    "Bucky?" Captain Rogers asked.

   "Who the hell is Bucky?" The Winter Soldier asked back.

   "No, not again." I said as I heard his reply.

   The Winter Soldier looked at me, hesitated, and pulled out his gun, and pointed it at me.

   But, before he could pull the trigger, the Black Widow shot a missile like thing at him.

   "Everyone on the ground!" Rumlow ordered us. We all obeyed and got on the ground.

   One of the agents put a gun against my head.

   "Not here. Not here!" Rumlow demanded. He listened and put his gun back down.

   Instead, they loaded all of us into a van.
