               Winter Soldier
My head is splitting. I can't hear or see anything, but darkness. I feel like screaming and screaming, but no sound is coming out.

I keep seeing flashes. Memories, I guess.

"Congratulations soldier. You're a father." Karpov said as he walked me to the room.

I don't deserve to be a father. All of the things I've done. I can't raise a child.

Karpov walked me over to the small boy laying in a bed. "Here's your little boy. He's going to be useful when he's old enough." He said.

"Where's his mother?" I brought myself to ask as I looked down at the boy. "She's being dealt with in another room." He answered.

"So what's going to be his name?" I asked as we continued on with training.

"I was thinking about Jace. I can't determine the other parts because of your memory loss." She replied as she threw a kick at my hip.

"I'm still sorry I don't remember my own name." I said as I barely dodged it. "Don't worry about it." She said with one of her slight smiles.

"I'm just worried that Hydra's going to do something about us. I mean, it isn't really a secret anymore." I said as I threw a punch at her face.

"Stop worrying. I'm not going to let them do anything if I can help it." She said and grabbed my arm, flipping me on my back.

Everything was taken away from me. They took her away from me. Why can't they let me be happy? Why did they have to take her away from me?

The only thing that made it all worth it. The only person who could possibly love me. Why did they do this to me? Why?

                         ☆

"Why don't you talk to me anymore? Did I do something wrong?" Jace asked as I punched the punching bag. I didn't say anything.
