       Winter Soldier or Bucky?
Who is this? This can't be me. We have two separate lives. But we have the same eyes, and the same facial features. How can this be me?

'Born in 1917, Barnes grew up the oldest child of four. An excellent athlete who also excelled in the classroom. Barnes enlisted in the Army shortly after the attack of Pearl Harbor. After winter training at Camp McCoy, Wisconsin, Barnes and the rest of the 107th shipped out to the Italian front. Captured by Hydra troops later that fall, Barnes endured long periods of isolation, deprivation, and torture. But his will was strong. In a ironic twist of fate, his prison camp was liberated by none other than his childhood friend, Steve Rogers, now Captain America.

Reunited, Barnes and Rogers led Captain America's newly found unit, the Howling Commandos. Barnes marksmanship was invaluable as Rogers and his team destroyed Hydra bases and disrupted Nazi troop movements throughout the European Theater.' I read the plaque.

None of this sounded familiar. Hydra took all of this away from me. But there was one thing I did remember.

   Steve.

I feel so sorry for not remembering him. I could've killed him and I almost did.

"Hey, we should get going." Jace says as he approaches me. "Okay." I reply and follow him out the door.

I was so close to losing him, too. My own son. Hydra's going to pay for what they did. Every little thing they ever did to me, Jace, and even Steve, they're going to pay for it.

I wonder what else I can't remember. All the memories that were ever in my head are gone. I have to get them back.

As long as I have Jace, they'll come back. I know they will. I know they will because Jace will help me.

"Are you okay? You're kinda quiet." Jace asks as we walk down the street. "Yeah." I answer.

We continue walking down the street. On our way, we pass a woman, a man, and their son. As I look up at the woman, a thought appears in my head.

   Who is Jace's mother?
