Liza and David walked hand in hand down the New York streets. They decided to take a 'Rebound Weekend Getaway'
They walked in silence just enjoying each others company.
Liza sighed breaking the silence, "You know, I missed us... a lot, even if it was just a few weeks... it was a hard few weeks." She laughed a bit at herself.
"Me too. You should have seen me! I wasn't sober once!" David laughed as well.
Their laughter died and they smiled at each other.
"Well, let's get something to eat!" Liza chirped.
"Agreed."
After a few disagreements they both decided on a small cafe a little ways outside of the city. They sat down together at a table in the back.
Liza reached her hand across the table to hold David's hand while she looked a menu.
After a few minutes they ordered and smiled at each other.
They laughed at theirselves for a bit, "We're being so cheesy right now!" Liza giggled.
"Yeah.. We are, but I'm just glad that we're back.. and again, i'm so so sor-"
Liza held her hand up stoping him, "Nope, no apologies, we are over it, past it, it's gone, no more, away from us-"
"I get it!" David laughed.
