Liza stood there not moving. So many things were running through her mind right now she couldn't think straight. She wanted to cry and run away but didn't because she thought it was silly, he was just a silly guy, this was all silly to her.
Or she thought people would think that about her. She sighed and sat down on the floor. She didn't think she'd be in this situation right now... If only I got away from Jordan sooner.
Her eyes slowly closed as she thought of David waiting for a text or call back.
When Liza woke up her head pounded and there were tear streaks on her cheeks. Had she been crying? Her room was dark now and she couldn't see much. She thought of David and hoped he was okay. They had just reunited and now everything was ruined because of her.
Her phone lit up the dark room. It was a text from Gabbie.
Gabbie: Okay Liza, I know you and you would never cheat on david. right? don't lie
Liza was shocked, she quickly responded.
Liza: Never! Do you know where David is? Is he okay?!
Gabbie: okay good, i didn't think so. he's okay. do you want to talk to him? he's with me rn. i'll force him to lol.
Liza stared at her phone waiting for another response.
David: hi. i'm sorry
Liza: no i'm sorry, i'm sorry you thought i would cheat on you. i'm sorry you saw those fake pictures. i'm sorry i even said hi to jordan. please come back i'm worried.
David: i'm sorry too... i can't come back yet.
Liza shut off her phone and didn't reply, she wouldn't just wait around for him. She needed to get some air.
She grabbed her keys, phone, and ran downstairs to her car.
Her eyes blurred with tears when she started the engine.
Of course he doesn't want to come back, he hates you! You're horrible! You ruined your relationship! It's all your fault!
Thoughts swirled around in her head and she couldn't see where she was driving. This was dangerous, she needed to pull over. She looked in her mirror as she switched lanes and the last thing she saw was a big semi truck right behind her.
