ten months ago

David and I are going on a special date tonight for our one month anniversary. I'm really excited! We're going to eat a fancy dinner and then just hang out afterwards.

I looked at the clock and I had more than a few hours to get ready so I decided to watch youtube. I opened up my computer and I scrolled through the nearest videos.

A video popped up in my feed:

My mouse hovered over the video as I stared at the sad thumbnail. I finally clicked it and watched the sad video. I frowned the whole way though at how sad Colleen looked. Her and Josh really were goals. When the video ended I thought about me and David and how close we were.

I clicked on a few more old Joshleen videos and thought about how in love they were and how happy they looked. What if that happened to me and David? Tears came to my eyes as all of a sudden I was very emotional and my heart when out to Colleen and Josh and how I never wanted that for them, for me and David, and for anyone else.

I stood up and walked away from my computer. That was enough for today. I smiled in the mirror and tried not to think about the future. David and I were happy for now and that was enough for me.

For now.

A few hours later I stood in a tight black dress when David knocked on my door. David was wearing a dress shirt and dress pants. I admired his looked and smiled.

"Hola mami." He said as he leaned in to kiss me. I laughed and smiled into the kiss.

"You ready?" I breathed.

He looked me up and down, "Ready as I'll ever be! You look great by the way."

"Not as good as you,"

He shook his head, "Never! Did I mention you look amazing?"

We both laughed and walked to his car.

In a few moments we were in a fancy restaurant that took my breath away as I walked in.

I gaped while looking at the lights and listening to the soft music, "David its so beautiful!"

"I'm glad you like it." He put his hand on my back and moved toward me. He sent chills rushing through my body and I smiled at David. After a few minutes David and I were seated.

I looked through the menu deciding what would be best. I looked at the menu and frowned, everything was so pricy.

David noticed my discomfort, "Liza, I know what you're thinking but this is a milestone in our relationship and I think it's okay if we spend a little extra tonight." He smiled at me and grabbed my hand from across the table.

His smile made me smile. When he laughed, I laughed.

"I guess you're right." I smiled back.

After we were done with our food David leaned back in his seat, "What did you think?"

"So full!" He laughed, "Me too!"

"I liked your video this week!"

He appreciated me, I appreciated him.

"Thank you, I liked yours too." I awed.

We talked for hours in the restaurant about anything and everything. We were there for so long that a waiter came up to told us the store was closing. He realized who we were and asked for a picture. We happily accepted.

We finally got back to my house and changed into comfy clothes. While David made a blanket fort I made popcorn. When I walked into the the living room, I laughed at the situation, we were so childish. David and I got settled into the blankets and he held me in his arms. As we were watching a cheesy Disney movie, I turned to him and kissed him on the lips.

He kissed me back and looked at me. He stared into my eyes for so long I thought I was going to fall asleep.

"Liza," He started.

I held my breath and nodded slowly, I wasn't really sure what was happening, or what was going to happen.

"I love you."

The room around us held still, the songs on the TV stopped, his breathing stopped, my breathing stopped. It was just us two in the room and our love.

Love.

The world came back to me and I smiled.

"I love you too David Dobrik."

We both turned back to the movie and I rested my head on his shoulder. My eyes fell shut.

That night I dreamed of sweet things.

I looooved writing this chapter! I'm sorry I haven't updated in a few days but I hope that it was worth it.

A few things I would like to say:

First, I love Colleen and I just had to include her in this story some how even if it was sad.

Second, I know you might all be like: "THE DATES DONT MATCH WAAHH" and i know that, I just had to fit it in and that was the best so let just pretend that colleen posted the video in december 2015 haha.

Third, You guys are amazing tysm for reading and just being here, i really appreciate it.
