Liza's POV

a year earlier;

I just got home from my potential 'date' with David and I had a lot of fun! I really like him but I don't know if I want to open up to him yet. Part of me does and part of me doesn't. One half wants to open every living secret I have to him, and the other is scared if I end up having a relationship with him, it might end up like my last.

I sighed and lie down on my pillow and eventually fell asleep.

The next morning when I woke up I had another next from David which made me smile.

David: I had a lot of fun yesterday.. I'm hoping sometime we could do it again... Oh and I heard you'll be at Gabbie's today, she invited me too, when will you be there?

Liza: i had fun too☺️❤️ i'll be over by 11! can't wait to see you there

I shut off my phone and got ready.

About an hour later I showed up to Gabbie's apartment and knocked on her door. Gabbie answered and then shouted, "DAVID YOUR GIRLFRIEND IS HERE!"

I could see David in the back and he blushed, I must have too because Gabbie laughed at the both of us. We hugged quickly and she let me inside.

All three of us sat on the couch together and started a movie. I was so into the movie that I didn't even notice another body come over, sit on the couch, and put his arm on me.

I smiled expecting it was David but when I looked over it was... Zane? Yeah, I think I remember him a little from the party. I sat there uncomfortable staring him down.

"Um," David seemed uncomfortable too.

"Hey baby, you're single right?" Zane said to me, I was at a loss of words.

"Yes, but I- well us, I mean we- we kind of, well see-" I stuttered out trying to explain my situation.

David laughed, "Yes, she's single but we've been going out."

Zane stared at David and then back to me, and then laughed out loud.

"Yo sorry man!" he laughed again, "you should have got this in a vlog, your guys faces were HILARIOUS!" He looked back at the TV and his arm still around me.

"Um," I said still uncomfortable.

David sighed, "ZANE! Get away man!" David shoved Zane away from me and put his arm around my shoulder. I smiled and rested my head on his arm.

It was about an hour later, close to the end of the movie and I was starting to get bored, David was sleeping right next to me. I turned over and Zane was sleeping too.

"Do you have whipped cream?" I smiled deviously.

It was a few minutes later when Gabbie and I were standing over Zane and David holding two cans of whipped cream.

"1...2...3!" Gabbie shouted. We both immediately held down the tops of the cans and sprayed it onto the two boys who were sleeping.

Zane sat up and gasped, David grunted, "Oh I'm going to get you!" He shot up and ran to the fridge, I looked back at Zane and continued to spray him.

I was in the middle of drenching Zane with whipped cream when I felt a cold, soft substance on my neck making me stop, I turned around slowly to see David holding a can of whipped cream himself.

His face was nervous, he must have thought he went to far, but in my mind I needed to get him even harder. I laughed and sprayed him right in the face.

Before I knew it, Zane and Gabbie were chasing each other with handfuls of whipped cream and David was chasing me. There was whipped cream all over the floor making everyone slip. I was about to spray David when he pushed me away from him causing me to fall over.

I looked back and stuck my hand out trying to break my fall, instead of helping myself I made it worse. When I landed, my hand was stuck under me and I heard a crack followed by a burning pain that ran up my arm. I cried out but at the same time laughed at myself for falling, I always got hurt.

All three rushed to my side, "Are you okay?" Gabbie frantically asked?"

Half crying, half laughing, and half embarrassed I replied saying, "I don't really know! It hurts but.." I stopped to laugh and cry more, "I don't know!"

David whined, "I'm so sorry Liza, I just- I'm sorry,"

"David don't worry about it David! I'll be fine! I'm just over reacting." I said while holding my limp, not moving arm in my hand.

"Oh no! You can't move it, can't you?" David shouted.

"Let take her to the ER, it might be broken!"

In about two hours, a double movie date turned into a trip to the ER.
