Roar took another sip of her vegan tea as I told her of what was happening. Throughout all of the explaining, she had a poker face on. I had no idea what she was thinking in any part of my story. After I finished telling her, she just sat there and nodded for a few minutes.

I stared at her and tried to guess what she was thinking, but I came back with nothing. She soon raised her eyebrows and stared at me. "So...you're saying that you were dreaming of a boy, then he...appeared?" I shook my head and looked down at the table. "I knew you wouldn't believe me," I said and started to stand up.

Roar grabbed my hand and jerked me back down.

"Of course I believe you, dear. It's just so incredible. It's a defiance of nature." I smiled at her odd use of words as the waitress brought us our check.

After paying, we walked of Tea Leaf, the single greatest vegan cafe in Sherinsville.

That night, I had trouble sleeping. All I could think about was Damien, and it was killing me that I didn't know why this was happening. "Stranger things have happened," I lied to myself. No matter how long it took, I felt like I had to find out what was going on. Thing like this didn't happen every day, and especially not to low lifes like me. There had to be a catch, and I was going to figure out what it was.

Beep, beep! Beep, beep! My alarm clock made the most annoying sound. I smacked my fist so hard down on it, that I thought the bones were broken. A string of curse words flew from my mouth, and I couldn't help but bring my hand to my lips. After a few minutes of sucking on my sore fingers, I got ready and sulked down the steps, forcing myself to attend school.

The steps to the school seemed like they went on for miles as I agonizingly took them one by one. When I go to the top, I felt tired and out of breath, even though I shouldn't have been. I made my way into the building and over to my locker to get my books for first period. I frantically looked around for any sign of Damien, because, quite frankly, I belive that if I had seen him, I wouldn't have been able to keep my breakfast down.

As far as I could see, he was no where to be found, so I retrieved my history book from my locker and walked down the hallway. As I turned the corner, my body collided with something hard, solid, and I fell to the floor, my books and backpack flying. I was just about to let a large variety of curse words fly from my mouth when a soft yet hard voice stopped me. "Oh, shit, are you alright?" I looked up, only to have the breath knocked out of me. Damien's looked even more beautiful than when I had first seen him. His shaggy black hair was flowing with the wind from every person that walked by. His ocean eyes sparkled with regret and a hint of amusement. "Hello? Are you alright?" he asked again. I nodded, and he smiled. His mouth was gorgeous as well, perfectly plump, pink lips, perfect straight, white teeth, but I noticed that his two canine teeth were a bit longer and pointed then the others. I figured it was just another cute trait he inherited.

"I-I-I-I'm f-fine, tha-thanks," I stuttered, and he laughed at me. God, was his laugh adorable, too. He had a deep laugh, but it was cute and squeaky at the same time; the perfect combination.

Damien reached his hand out to me, but I just stared at it. "Come on," he said. "Let me help you up."

I stared blankly at Damien's outstretched hand in awe. "Do something, idiot!" I screamed at myself in my mind. "You're going to ruin everything!" Somehow, I just couldn't bring myself to take it.
