The Family of Bats (DRABBLES)

Fleas

It started with Richard itching his ankle.

The Bat-family was on patrol and Richard came onto the rooftops from the Gotham Park.

"I think something got into my boot and up my suit." Richard said, jumping on one foot and taking off his boot.

"What?" Tim asked, bewildered. 

"Grass or something, I think." Nightwing said, pulling up his pants.

There, a small black bug jumped onto his sleeve.

Nightwing gave a shriek.  

Everyone immediately stopped and looked at him.

"There's a bug on me! There's a bug! Get it off! GET IT OFF!" Richard screamed.

"Nightwing, calm down." Batman ordered.

"Bug...on...me..." Nightwing fainted. 

"Oh my gosh." Stephanie frowned.

Jason rolled his eyes, "Drama queen."

Batman called the Batmobile over.

He threw Richard over his shoulder as he moved to the Batmobile.

"GRAYSON!" Everyone heard Damian yell the next morning.

Richard was scratching his head and ankles a lot.

Damian came in with his shirt off, bite marks clearly present all over him.

"You gave my pets and I fleas!" Damian yelled.

"Fleas?" Richard frowned, still scratching.

"These little black bugs." Damian said, holding out a bug.

"Yeah! That was the bug on me yesterday!" Richard said, pulling up his pants so his ankles were exposed. 

"By the way, why are my bites different from yours?" Richard asked, holding up his ankle.

"Oh, shit man! You're having an allergic reaction to the fleas!" Jason said in disbelief. 

"Oh my." Alfred walked out of the room.

A few moments later, he came back with a cell phone.

"Yes, okay, thank you so very much Miss Thompkins!" Alfred said, rummaging through a drawer. 

He hung up the phone.

"Take this and it will kick in in a few minutes." Alfred put an allergy relief pill in front of Richard. 

Richard took it and smiled.

"Thanks Alfie! I don't know what I'd do without you!" Richard smiled.

"Tt. You'd starve, Grayson." Damian said, sitting down.

"You better not give me fleas." Jason said.
