I walk through the forest quietly.

"There she is!" I hear a familiar voice say. I turn around, only to be crushed in a hug from my oldest brother Kankuro.

"Let her breath!" Temari yells at him. He quickly lets me go. I cough and only have a small amount of time to breath, because Temari catches me in a hug. She lets go and Gaara appears.

He lets me hug him, but does nothing to respond. I don't mind though, as I stand on my tippy-toes and wrap my arms around his neck. "How've you been?" Temari asks as we sit in the grass.

"Well, I did graduate," I grin. They congradulate me.

"So who's on your team?" Kankuro asks. I tell them all about Kiko and Jenko, and how old Turishiko is. I add on all of the other stuff that has happened recently, leaving out Shika very carefully.

"So who's the dude with the pony tail?" Temari asks. My eyes widen and I swallow hard.

"Um, why?" I question.

"I don't know, he's kinda cute and I thought he might have been your boyfriend," she smirks. I glare at her, as does Gaara and Kankuro. Aaahh, older brothers are so protective sometimes.

"Na, he's not my boyfriend. He's just a friend," I say, looking away. Then I frown in realisation. "Were you watching me?" I ask.

Kankuro and Temari look guilty, wheras Gaara just says, "Yes."

I smile and pull some grass up. Before, I had so many questions for them. Now it seems I only want to sit in silence, like some siblings actually can.

"How's home?" I ask softly.

"Well, Dad's as evasive as ever," Tem admits.

"But things are still good."

I continue to talk to them, for a while at least. Eventually they have to leave. I hug them goodbye again.

As I walk back home, I can't help but think that if the opportunity ever arises; if I ever get the chance to return to the Land of Wind.

I may not go. I Konoha not my home?

~One Month Later~

I sigh heavily and collapse on my couch. Thirty-six missions. That's right; thirty six of them over the past month. Kiko, Jenko and I have been attacked by cats, old women, dogs, and eachother because we've been so grumpy at stupid D ranked missions.

Slowly, I eat my barbecue pork we are having for dinner. "It'll get better soon; I promise," Neyo and Jikei kept saying. I just wave them off.

The next day, I wake up expecting the exact same outcome; D ranks, ramen with the team, walk home with Shika.
