I stood in the center of my kitchen pouring in the chicken flavored seasoning packet into my bowl of steaming romen noodles. I was living on these for the first four months of me being in college, this and pancakes. After I started making money with the three jobs I was working to save for a car, I was finally able to eat more healthy.

Nobody was home, I think. Mom and Madi are having brunch with some friends and Frank is doing something with work. And as for Leo, he still might be home, I'm not sure. Last night around three I heard him stumble up stairs, and about two different times in the night I was woken up with the sounds of him gagging in the bathroom. Must have drank quit a lot last night.

Loud foot steps coming down the stairs interrupted my thoughts. Speak of the devil.

"Hey" Leo muttered.

"Uh hi" I quietly said while taking a bite of my food.

"Listen I'm really sorry about last night I.... well uh Kristen, she got really mad and well she can be a real pain in the ass sometimes, anyway  uh.. I wanted you to hang out with us but she-"

"No I get it" I interrupted.

"Yeah?" Leo said sounding relieved.

"Oh yeah. I mean sure you did take me out when you have a girlfriend. I mean how could you possibly expect her to be okay with that-"

"Well I-" Leo began but I cut him off once again.

"And then just leave me. Not ask to take me home or anything. You know how many men harassed me last night?"

"Well I don't-"

"Some guy tried to stick his tongue down my throat! The only thing that stopped him was telling him that I had herpes! And then some group of forty year olds tried to pull me into the men's bathroom! I could've been raped! And then-" Leo cut off my ranting with laughter.

"It's not funny!" I squeaked.

"I'm sorry it's just-" he started laughing again.

Maybe I was being to dramatic about this. Why am I so mad at him anyway? I'm sure if he could have he would have spent time with me.

"Welcome to clubbing" he said as his laughter died down.

"What do you mean? That's normal?"

"Sadly yes. It happens with us men too, but with women. Well... usually. But anyway I'm really sorry I abandoned you, and I'm sorry you had a bad time. I guess that's not really your thing and that's ok."

I stayed quiet.

"I think my hangover is karma working on me from last night" Leo laughed.

I un tensed myself. "Yeah I'm sorry for getting so mad"

"It's alright, I deserved it" Leo smiled. That beautiful smile slowly faded as he clinched his shirt around his stomach.

"Be right back" he said as he sped off toward the bathroom.

There was more of those gagging sounds. Which caused me to feel queasy.
