Enter HANA, HALLE, LEONARDO and DERICK
HANA: Halle, you keep Derick in front since we don’t want him back. I’ll carry Leo to find Owen.
HALLE: Okay. I don’t mind at all.
LEONARDO: I’ll miss you Halle!
Exeunt HALLE and DERICK
Enter OWEN and THALIA
HANA: Owen!
OWEN: Oh, hi guys, what’re you doing here? What’s up?
HANA: You hypnotized him.
[Gestures to LEONARDO]
THALIA: What?
LEONARDO: [grinning] I’m in love with Halle.
HANA: She spilled her drink when you told Thalia to open her eyes and both he and Derick looked at her and now they’re both in love with her.
OWEN: Do you know what this means?
HANA: [hopeful] He’s in love with the wrong person and you can undo it?
OWEN: No! The trick ACTUALLY worked! [Fist pumps]
THALIA: Owen! That doesn’t matter right now!
OWEN: Oh. Right... Sorry.
THALIA: Thank you.
HANA: Is there any way to undo it? Hypnotize him again maybe?
OWEN: What about the other guy?
HANA: Oh, we’re leaving him like that. It’s better that way.
OWEN: Okay. Let’s try this.
[Takes out pocket watch and swings it in front of Leonardo’s face]
You are getting sleepy. Very sleepy...
LEONARDO: No I’m not. What are you talking about?
HANA: It’s not working!
OWEN: Patience, Hana.
HANA: Patience is not one of my virtues.
THALIA: Hana, please. Not now, he’s trying and it will work if he’s not rushed. Owen, try facing the watch the other way. That’s the way it was facing the first time he got hypnotized.
OWEN: You’re right!
[Spins the pocket watch to face the other way and swings it again]
You are getting sleepy. Very sleepy...
Thalia, go back inside.
THALIA: Why?
OWEN: Because I don’t want him falling in love with you!
THALIA: Oh. Right... Okay, good luck Hana.
Exit THALIA
OWEN: You are asleep.
LEONARDO: [raises eyebrow]
What exactly are you trying to do?
OWEN: Hana, I don’t know what to do. It’s not working.
