41. When jealousy hits you.

Recap:

"Hey, it was real nice talking to you. We should hang out sometime!" Madison says. We exchanged numbers before they left us to go get drinks. We walked around, greeting some people.

"Let's go get some drinks.." He says, I nodded in agreement then walk with him to the kitchen.

"Matthew..." A girl stood infront of us, her mouth was gaped opened. Obviously surprised to see him.

"Jessica?" Matthew's eyes widen, he looked surprised to see her here. I swallowed the big lump in my throat not ready for what's about to happen.

"Matthew! I can't believe it's you!" She gasps, she opens her arms wide for a hug. She walks up to surprised Matthew and hugged him. I felt his fingers let go of mine when he slowly and awkwardly hug her back.

"Jessica.. it's been so long." He says, he clears his throat when he looked at me. They've been hugging for more than 2 seconds so. When he noticed the look I've been giving him, he pulled her away.

"I know! You're now 19! Time flies by real fast, am I right?" She laughs.

How can I not be jealous? I mean, look at her. She's blonde, she's tall, she has toned long legs, bright white teeth, beautiful smile, amazing eyes, and her laugh is probably the prettiest laugh I've heard.

"Yeah, yes it does." He scratches the back of his neck. He's nervous. Nervous about what? Now he doesn't know what to do. Well what are you waiting for? Introduce me you bitch.

"Who's this?" She points to me, she looks down at me with a smile and looks back at her.

"T-this is my girlfriend, Jannalyn. I think you've met her bef-"

"The Jannalyn? Your best friend since like what you were 7?" She chuckles. Um, since he was 5 actually. Get it right.

"Yep, that's me." I let out a shaky chuckle from my mouth.

"How long have you guys been dating?" She asks. Matt looks down at me then looks back at her, I felt his arm wrap around my waist pulling me closer to him.

"A few weeks now." He answered. Few weeks? Felt like years to me.

"Hm, last time I remembered, we lasted longer than that." She jokes, her eyes trailed down at me with a smile.

"Uh, yeah." Matt fakes a laugh. "Well we gotta get going. Need to greet more people. See you around, Jessica.." hopefully not.

"Of course! See you later Matthew!" She hugs him one last time, making sure he let go of me. Then walked away.

"What's up, motherfuckers?" A drunk Keegan slurred at us, he chugs a cup of alcohol before throwing it to the floor and hugged us both.

"Keegan? Keegan? Keegan! Jesus Christ, there you are." Jocelyn sighs, she pulls Keegan away from us. "We only got here and he's already drunk." She rolled her eyes at him.

"Baby, shh. You're beautiful." Keegan puts his index finger against her lips shushing her.

"You're a complete mess, you know that?" She tells him.
