Fifteen more minutes until the cafe closes. I was silently praying to god no more customers would come in just to annoy me right when it's are about to close. Jess left early, she insisted to stay and help me but I told her to go home and that I'll close the cafe by myself. I was in the middle of cleaning the counter and still praying that no one would come in. I mean, we literally have a sign that tells what time we close but customers still chooses to walk in the minute before we close.

The moment where I heard the door open, I wanted to wait for a black hole to appear and allow it to swallow me in. The sad thing is, it didn't come true and now I have to deal with the customer.

"Kill me. Kill me." I murmured to myself while I slowly turned around to face the customer who just couldn't wait til tomorrow. I forced a smile on my face and tried to look happy as I can. The customer didn't look like an annoying obnoxious person, it was a man with glasses that looked a bit confused and exhausted.

"Uh, hello." He greeted showing me his smile, he stuffed his hands in his pockets after he fixed his glasses that was slipping. "I know you're about to close but uh.. can I still order? I didn't mean to come in so late." He scratched the back of his neck with a sympathetic look.

"Oh yes, sir. Of course." This time I didn't force a smile on my face. This man looked like he didn't mean to come in late and he looked nice as well. I took a step towards the cash register to take this man's order. "What would you like, sir?" I asked politely.

"Oh please don't call me sir. I don't want to remember how old I am." He chuckled. "Can I actually have a strawberry banana smoothie? I don't really like coffee." I smiled and nodded, doing what I was suppose to do. I couldn't help but think of someone that he somehow reminds me of. Who was it?

"Name?" I grabbed a cup for his smoothie. I took a sharpie a took the cap off to write his name down.

"Rafael." He answered. I nodded then wrote it down before I accepted his money and gave him his change back. I made his smoothie right after then gave it to him. Right when he left, the clock striked 3 signalling me that the cafe is finally closed and that I can go home.

"Oh, you're home early." I tiredly let out a sigh once I stepped into my apartment. I retrieved my house key before I slammed the door shut and let out another tired sigh. I walked inside the kitchen like a zombie, I placed my purse on the table then continued walking towards the fridge.

The second love of my life.

I opened the fridge and leaned over to grab the gallon of apple juice. I heard Matthew get up from the couch then his footsteps getting closer and closer. Before I knew it, he was sitting on top of the counter with his eyes on me, watching my every move.

"Want some?" I showed him the cup filled with apple juice that I just poured. I already knew he wanted some that I didn't even need to ask. So I took a sip of the apple juice then handed it over to him. He happily took the cup of apple juice from my grip, his fingertips brushing over my fingers causing my heartbeat to quicken. Right when he took the cup from my grasp, he grabbed ahold of my hand and pulled me between his legs. He was looking at me while he was drinking from the cup. His eyes somehow reminded me of the customer at work, they kinda looked similar.
