"Yedica, Alyssa!" We all politely clapped as a girl with short dirty-blonde hair walked up to the chair. She sat down with the hat on her head, before it called out in a loud voice. "Hufflepuff!" We politely clapped again while she smiled and jogged over to the cheering Hufflepuff table. Mrs. McGonagall walked up to the golden owl podium (that looked suspiciously like Gizar) once more. I patted my pocket gently to make sure he was still there (which he was). "Welcome! Welcome to a new year at Hogwarts. Before we begin our banquet, I would like to say a few words. I know that we usually do not have exchange students, but please treat Mr. Jackson with respect, he comes all the way from America. Also, as usual, the forbidden forest is off limits to all the students, and duels will not be tolerated without teacher supervision. Adéu!" The food appeared on the table in front of us and everyone quickly started to talk and grab food. I didn't grab anything, but I did watch Harry as he grabbed a couple of wings, a ladle of noodles, and a crumpet and began to slowly eat in silence. What's wrong Hazza? It looks like something's eating you, rather than you eating it. Harry cracked a smile and looked over at me. He then furrowed his brow. Why aren't you eating? I grimaced. Because of there. Don't you remember? His eyes stopped glowing. That's right. I'm sorry Perce. I didn't mean to bring it up. I sighed, slightly shaking my head. A fake smile lit up my face. It doesn't matter, I can't eat yet anyway because I would still need to burn offerings to the gods. I don't think that is justified here. He nodded, looking grimly at his food. Don't worry about me Hazza. I've gone through much worse. That's what I'm worried about... He slowly started eating again, but scooted closer to me and leaned against my shoulder. I put my arm around him and rubbed his back, comforting him in his deep thoughts that I didn't dare intrude upon. We didn't really talk the rest of the time, but because Harry felt bad, I did too. I wanted to cheer him up, but didn't know how. Once the main dishes disappeared and the desserts came into view I stared longingly at a blue cake that appeared on the Ravenclaw table. What? I snapped out of my trance and looked at Harry, a sheepish and sad smile on my face. I was just remembering. He looked down at his cookie, suddenly sad again. Oh, come on Harbear, stop being so negative. Lighten up for the gods' sakes! You have a cookie in front of you! I saw his mouth twitch upward for a second before it turned into a scowl. Are you trying to make me laugh? I snickered to myself. What gave me away? His eyes twinkled. For a fact, I'm your twin, I know all. I let my mouth fall open slightly, then bowed my head to him, pretending his supremacy. I'm so sorry my lord. You truly know all. Harry laughed and I smiled, giving him a noogie. "Hey!" He spoke for the first time out loud, trying to get out of my hold on his shoulders. I pretended I was having a hard time. "No one...... escapes..... the mighty...... Persassy!" I held him to me with one arm and gave him another noogie while he complained. Hermione, who had been ignoring us the whole time, scooted away from us a bit, and Ron was staring. I immediately stopped all movement and looked back at Ron, mimicking his face. "Is there something wrong?" He blushed and looked away, probably embarrassed at getting caught. Just as the dessert was about to disappear, I remembered getting Gizar food and swiped two cookies and a brownie from the table for him. I stuck them in my pocket, feeling his gratitude and approval through the bond. I chuckled a little to myself and Harry and I stood up. "All students please follow your respectable house prefects. They will lead you to your rooms and show you the password." Headmistress McGonagall sits back down and we all file our after the prefects. I had Harry in a side hold, not wanting to loose him in the throng of people. Hey Harry. Yeah? Why did you not eat a lot? He looked at me, puzzled over the sound of everyone talking, robes swishing, and shoes clicking along the stone floor. I guess I just wasn't hungry. I'll make sure to eat a lot tomorrow morning though, that's when we get our schedules. I nodded. Yeah. We continued on in silence, but we were surrounded by noise. We reached a painting of a fat lady in a dress, and I immediately knew she was a Roman. Her dress was unmistakably so. I just looked it up and apparently the fat lady was a British woman from the late 1960s or earlier who had gone to Hogwarts. Let's pretend that she is Roman and had witch blood in her before her death. It makes things interesting. "Password?" A boy prefect stepped forward and stated proudly, "Pegasus ala." I winced, not wanting to imagine just a pegasus' wing. I let go of Harry and sunk back into the shadows. As all of the students filed in, no one saw me left behind. Harry was too caught up in the current of people to turn around and try to find me. Go ahead Harry, I have to do something. Grab a bed for me, will you? One preferably next to a wall with a window. See ya little bro. I waited for all of the students to pass and the painting to fall back into place. I approached the lady as she eyed me curiously. "Hello. Are you lost my dear?" I shook my head, smiling politely. "In which time of Rome were you from, Madam?" Italics in speech is what they are saying in another language, in this case, Latin. The lady's eyes widened and she grew suspicious. "I am Aemilia Libo from ancient times when Julius Cesar ruled these lands." I nodded my head. "Then you know of the gods?" Amelia's eyes widened. "Yes, how do you know Latin?" I smiled kindly. "They are real." Her eyes widened as she stared at me. "No.... it can't be possible! Why would you say such a thing?" I snickered. "Because I am the Champion of Olympus." Aemilia sighed and then glared at me. "I will not accept such foolish words. I understand that you must want attention from your appearance, but it is easy to see that you are just another spoiled student wishing to be more than he is." I looked at her, long and cold. "Do you really believe that?" Aemilia looked at me with slight doubt, but then nodded her head, chin held high. "Yes. You are just like any other child, except you have the knowledge of Rome." I nodded my head, "Yes. I have the knowledge of Athena, do I not? Think of any question to ask me about any topic you could ever possibly understand." Aemilia screwed her eyes shut in concentration and then opened them with a triumphant grin on her face. I used my blessing from Athena and Hera to look into her mind and answer the question. The thing is, I had never tried to use the blessing Hera gave me, and thus, I ended up reading the question and also leaving behind one of my own memories. I still remembered it, but I knew I left it when I used Athena's blessing before I pulled away and noticed it. Though it was too late to try and delete it. Now she has proof, at least. "The garden in your house courtyard. An assassin is not a very good way to go, is it?" She looked at me with wide eyes, and slowly tears started to brim in them. "You truly are the Champion of Olympus." She bowed her head, a hand to her chest. "I am very sorry. I had no idea that they were even here anymore. And thank you for restoring my memory. They were slowly slipping away with my time spent in these walls." I sighed, a small smile on my face. "It's good to know that there is someone else here other than my twin who knows of what is going on. I presume you know of the dangers now?" She frowned, goigng over my memory once more. "No, I only know of whom your twin is and the situation of your blood." I sighed. "Voldemort is back. The Doors of Death had not been closed in time and he was pushed back into his body, same as with Harry." Aemilia looked horrified, but tried to hide it. "But you will help us, right?" I nodded firmly. "Yes. It is my duty to help the gods and goddess' of Olympus, and Hecate wishes for me to save her pet world. Thus, with my twin, we will defeat Voldemort once and for all." She relaxed into her chair, but still looked nervous. "Am I allowed to tell anyone else of this, Champion?" I thought about it, and then nodded. "But only if you swear on the river Styx to never tell another person, other than the portraits on these walls, and make them swear on the river Styx to the same promise." She nodded. "I, Aemilia Libo, swear on the river Styx to never tell another living soul of all that the Champion of Olympus has told me this night. May I only be able to tell the other portraits in these walls. Thus, making them swear as well." I nodded my head, my shoulders sagging slightly, but then they stiffened again. "Thank you. I will have to be going in now. Pegasus ala." she nodded and the picture swung to the side, showing the entrance to the Gryffindor common room. I entered and admired the architecture, just like Annabeth would. A slight pang filled my heart as I cursed myself for thinking that way. I pushed myself away from a flashback and walked up the stairs to the boys' rooms. I then noticed my problem. I had no idea which one Harry was in. Afraid the wake him up, I felt for our link and followed that. I went up three floors and turned to the last door on the left. I opened it quietly and walked inside on my already silent feet. I saw Harry lying on a bed next to a window, the moonlight shining on his feet. I smiled slightly and snapped my fingers, putting his clothes neatly in his trunk and his pajamas on him in a flash. I looked around and saw no other open beds, so I let Gizar out, who only slid up my arm to my neck, hissing a silent good night. I pet him for a second and then changed into my pajama pants with a snap as well. I let Gizar down onto the moonlit covered bottom, where he turned into a golden cat, and I got under the covers with Harry. I pulled him to me and gently took off his glasses and my pendant before I fell asleep too. That night was the first time that I slept peacefully since I was eight months old. The first time in eighteen years.
