I barely got a glance at Percy before he front-flipped off of the table and into a crouch, avoiding the white light of the sword-like spell. All I got to see were deep bags and a silver piece of hair. I then started to inspect him as his wand appeared in his hand. I felt guilt naw at my heart when he stepped in front of me, like a guard. I could only see his back, but there were still several tips of scars visible above his robe-line. Percy remained silent, listening, and I took a peak inside of his mind, to see that he was using his advanced abilities in order to read everybody's heart rate and body odor. Smell if they were ready to fight or for flight. Perce narrowed his search, starting from the outsides and working in. The only one who could have been held accountable was... I gasped, extreme disappointment and shock overriding my face. Perce stalked towards the redhead trembling in his boots and I grew full of rage as well. I stepped in front of Percy and held out my hand. He hesitated a second before backing away, giving me the choice. I felt my rage simmer just below the surface, and I started to whisper harshly. "You dare to try and harm a fellow student? How many times must he decline being a death eater before you believe him? Must he die in order to give you the satisfaction of his loyalty? I know for a fact that this man is to be respected. He has helped me a lot in these past two days. But you, Ronald, I am very disappointed. To pull a prank that lands our house in last, to accuse a fellow Gryffindor of being a death eater, and then throwing a curse at him as well? I can't believe I ever called you my friend." I sigh as Percy walks up behind me. "Let's go Perce, we have Care for Magical Creatures." Percy nodded and wrapped an arm around my shoulders, gently pulling me along. It was dead silence in the Great Hall, not even the Headmistress dared to move until we left. The clambering of rushing students filled the air as soon as the huge doors shut behind us with a foreboding clang, ringing in my ears as we walked. As we walked, one question kept making at me, and I finally asked him. Perce, can... can I see them? He looked down at me with kind eyes, and I started to tear up. There were scars covering his face, crossing over his lips and even over his eyelids. There was one scar that scared me though, it traced over his temple, going straight to his other one, through the line, even his eyes were scarred. I looked into my eyes and he got the message. He softly lowered his robe and I saw the many scars zigzagging across his flesh, along with a golden Gizar around his bicep. I smiled lightly and walked out of the castle doors. "Harry...... do I... scare you?" He looked at me with pleading eyes and I laughed lightly. "Of course not Percy. You're my best friend." And my big bro. "There's not way I could be scared of you. Just because those stupid kids back there are doesn't mean anything. If they saw what you had to got through, they would see you as a hero, wearing your scars with pride." Percy's eyes brightened and his lips quirked upwards. Dam, (hehe, Harry gets it) so close. "You're right Hazza. Now, let's go see what Hagrid's got for us today huh?" I smiled. "Sure, let's just hope it won't fry me to a crisp." I shuddered at the memory of those Blast-Ended Skrewts. As we walked up to Hagrid's hut, there were four weird creatures in cages. It looked like they had tentacles around their mouthes, and two main golden horns on their foreheads, with several spikes on their necks. If one were to describe them without the horns, it would be like a cross between a rhino and an elephant, with the elephant's height. They were charging at their cages and clawing at the ground, grunting and growling. As we walked up, they all stopped and looked up, bowing in unison. I grew confused, until I saw Percy wave then off. I knew he was conversing with the creatures, the way his eyes would change mood, even though his face remained stoic. We stood around and waited as the rest of the students, Gryffindors and Slytherins, rushed to get to the field on time. Hagrid came out a few minutes after the last student arrived, and stood in front of Percy and I, seeing as the rest of the students made a convenient wide-berthed circle around us while they talked. "All righ' students. Ter start off this ye'r we'll be studyin' Graphorns. I've four behin' me, but they're nasty little fellers so I don't wan' any a ya gettin' close ta tha fence. I'm gon' r'lease them from ther holds now, stan' back." Everyone but Percy and I took a step back, while I even felt Percy take a step forward, I smiled mysteriously. Hagrid walked into the pen, locking the gate behind him, and he carefully unlocked the cages, letting the graphorns free. As soon as the locks were open, they charged, throwing the gates open. The graphorns sprinted over to the fence, but were hit by a barrier about an inch from the bars. I heard multiple sighs throughout the crowd, but I just smirked. I knew these creatures knew what Percy could do, there is no way they would hurt someone while he was around. "Ahhhhhh! Get these blasted tentacles off me!" A second voice screamed bloody murder. "Help Hagrid!" On second thought.... I turned towards the sounds to see Crabbie and Goyle being held up by the graphorns' sharp tentacles. I could practically see the drool dripping from the corners of their mouthes. Before Hagrid could react, Percy was in motion. He ran forward, jumping up and flipping over the fence, landing in a perfect kneeling position as his robes fell around him in a flourish. I heard multiple swoons behind me and I sighed. Oh, Percy...
