I quickly stood up and started to speak with Sioux, Hochuck, Kansa, and Seminole. 'Don't eat them. They are students here, under my protection.' Sioux and Hochuck, the two males of the group, roughly dropped their prey (aka Crabbie and Goyle), and had the females corner them. 'Champion, why do you stop us from eating our fill? We are starving and the females need food.' Sioux, the chief, said to me, but then Hochuck had something else to say. 'Plus, they are just lumps of meat, not anything living.' I looked at Hochuck oddly, but then I realized what that gleam in their eyes were. Hunger, they are almost driven mad with hunger. It is no surprise that they could barely think when those two students got near the fence. My eyes softened and I nodded, taking out my wand, I remembered the specific spell I wanted. 'Accio meat!' In my mind I visualized coins replacing the food I was taking, and, after a while, there were four huge piles of meat, almost as tall as my shoulders. I also had the attention of my company, including Hagrid. 'I am sorry my friends. Those are actual human beings, eat these, they will help your hunger. I apologize for the torture of no food, may it not bring you any ill intent.' I watched for a minute while the graphorns had a feast with the food on their plates, and then I marched over to Hagrid, my anger boiling up. "Hagrid, have you been feeding these creatures?" Hagrid shrunk back and nodded. "Yea, I gave 'em each a slab a meat e'ry day." I growled, not believing his incompetence. "Hagrid! Do you know how much these guys are suppose to eat every day, on average?" He shook his head and I bent back my head, pinching the bridge of my nose, sighing. "Ok, since you obviously don't know the material very well, which is understandable because this is a newly discovered species," I raised my voice over the whispers of the students behind me, "do you want me to help you with this lesson?" Hagrid's eyes widened with worry, and I could see the concern in his beard. "I don wan' ta be-" I cut him off. "I am perfectly capable of handling myself around these animals, half-giant. Just because I am small does not mean that I do not pack a powerful punch." I let out a fraction of my aura, which had greatly increased from all of the training and blessings I had gotten recently, and it might have caused the air to thicken, oh well. Hagrid didn't say anything, but I could see the troubled expression on his face. He really is not one for words. I turned towards Sioux, Hochuck, Kansa, and Seminole, to find them just finishing off their piles. I cracked a sad smile and walked over to them, making sure to let them know I was coming. 'I'm going to teach the class how to correctly handle getting into a situation with you, how to take care of you, and what danger you present. Is this ok with you all?' I did not want to step over any boundaries since they rightfully had been captured, not going into this willingly. Sioux stepped forward again after quick glances at his companions. 'Thank you, Champion. We appreciate you asking us, and we would gladly help with this 'class' you speak of.' I smiled a little and nodded, turning back to the students. "Alright class, since I have a better time at helping these animals then Hagrid does, due to his size and stature, I will help you all with this lesson. Please, step forward. These graphorns had not been fed, since their daily diet is around fifty pounds of meat each day, and thus were rather hungry and disillusioned. Let us continue with the lesson."
I spent the rest of that period teaching the class all the information I could bring up from my studies. Of course, Hermione had asked me questions to counter my claim every two points, but I shut her down with facts every time. By the end of the lesson, I believed the Slytherin's didn't see me as such an arrogant fool, but looks can be deceiving. I wrapped my arm around Harry and he leaned into me as we walked to our next class, transfiguration. "You shouldn't put yourself in such danger again Percy. You could get hurt." I looked down at Harry with gentle eyes. "Hazza, it doesn't matter. I would take any pain for you, I would never, could never, die on you." Harry looked at me with frustration. "But I do not want you to be in pain. That is the whole point! I care for you and you do not take care of yourself for me." I understood and nodded. "I get it. Would it make you happy if I was more careful with myself?" Harry nodded and sniffled slightly. I cooed and comforted him. He gave a watery smile to me and a small one cracked my face as well. "All righty then, let's go transfigure!" Harry laughed and jogged with me to our next lesson.
As we walked into the class, I saw a small bird perched on the open window sill. I looked right at it and smirked, flashing a wink at the disguised Professor. Harry and I were some of the few who arrived early, as about half the class had not arrived yet. We walked over and sat down near the back of the class, readying our supplies and waiting. A few minutes later the rest of the class quickly trickled in before the clock hit the start of class. Since Ron was still as stupid as ever, he loudly spoke to Hermione. "Where's Headmistress? Is she too busy to even show up?" I saw the bird take off and land on the edge of her desk, transforming into Mrs. McGonagall as she landed. "I do have a busy schedule, Mr. Weasley, but I would never not show up for one of my classes. It is not my fault that you are too ignorant to realize you are being played once more." Most of the rest of the class laughed at Ron while his face flushed a brighter red than his hair. He bowed his head in shame and Hermione cast a disappointed look at her 'friend'. "Alright class, settle down and let us begin."
