Cyclone's POV
"It's probably a map..."
I was slightly shocked.
When I looked at Blackout, who had just returned, she was pointing at a stone tablet. When I looked at it, it was definitely a map. It had this placed very well mapped out and showed a winding path going through the many mountains.
I tried to find Mae, who was approaching us.
"May I see it?" Mae asked.
I nodded and handed the tablet to her. She examined it and looked up at the rest of us.
"It's accurate. I don't know how it got here, but it's where I intended to bring you."
She tucked it under her arm.
"We need to hurry... or else, something..." she froze and shook her head.
"Something...?" Riverflow inquired.
"Don't ask," Mae stared at him, fire blazing in her green eyes.
I gulped.
It didn't seem right for a young girl like her to be raging at a group of teenagers...
We stayed silent as we walked up the small incline, the scenery catching my eyes. Still, tension was in the air, making us churn. Maybe it was Mae's outburst, or something else...
After around fifteen moments of silence, my mind tugged with a question.
"Mae, who are you?"
Mae stared at me with intense green eyes.
"What do you mean?"
I shook my head.
"I worded it wrong. Tell us about you. We don't know much about you."
Mae's eyes started to glimmer.
"It's not for you to know."
"I'm not asking about your past... I'm just asking if you could tell us things like your favorite color."
I shivered. I hoped she wouldn't burst again...
Mae's mouth opened, as if to speak, but then she froze, her eyes fixed on something in the distance. We followed her gaze and found a dark cave.
"A cave..." Eon mused.
She looked back at Mae.
"Is this where we need to go to save Maia?"
"Yes."
"Do we just enter?" Blackout spoke up.
Mae nodded, not saying a word.
We all took quivering breaths and approached the cave. Soon, we were standing at the mouth of the cave.
Forestra fixed her eyepatch and looked at Mae.
"Mae, tell us---"
"I MISS THEM!" she howled, her head in her hands.
In silence, not knowing what to do, we submerged ourselves in the darkness of the cave. Mae sobbed again.

Forestra's POV
Silence.
It was all around us as we silently passed through the throat of the cave. Our breaths were already getting stuck in our throats. Mae held in her crying once we had entered.
Dear, this place was dark...
But I noticed Spotlight's eyes glowing. That helped a bit.
"What do we do?" Riverflow uttered.
"Keep walking," Mae's voice cracked.
"How long?" Pyroclast asked.
"Until I tell you to stop," Mae audibly shivered.
We kept ourselves silent, the tapping of our shoes against the rough cave floor being the only sound we heard.
After at least thirty seconds, a sudden husky voice rang throughout the cave.
"Of course they'll be here!" the voice yelled jovially.
I knew this voice.
It absolutely disgusted my very soul.
Chaot.
"CHAOT!" Arcmagos and Cyclone screamed, looking for that madwoman in crimson. I scanned the cave for her as well. She wasn't in front or behind us. That meant...
I looked upward.
Indeed, there she was.
My blood boiled in fury.
A melodramatic sigh echoed throughout the cave.
"Don't you guys just hate the world? All this anger and sadness and abandonment and..."
Some sort of strange energy came from Chaot.
"Horrible indeed. Why do you want to live in such a world? You can't."
Finally, my rage boiled to a maximum.
Together with Arcmagos, Pyroclast, and Rocksworth, I screamed.
I threw my hands out. Vines appeared around me.
Purple energy floated around Arcmagos.
Fire started circling Pyroclast.
The earth around Rocksworth started cracking.
We shoved at Chaot's general location. My vines, Arcmagos's energy, and Pyroclast's fire zoomed at her. Rocksworth shattered the earth near her, as though there was an earthquake.
At once, Chaot rolled out of the way, laughing.
"Oh, how idiotic, really. Just stop trying to kill me and my needs will be fulfilled."
"You murdered Maia!" I screamed.
I felt a hard grip on my arm. I found Blackout there, fearful of me.
My face contorting with rage, I pulled away from her and blindly shot thorns all over the place, Chaot gleefully dancing along the paths. The other three did the same.
Whenever I filled a path with thorns, it would crumble. The same applied for the other three, Rocksworth in particular.
I screamed blindly.
"Murderer! You deserve to die! Maia will come back!"
"I HATE YOU! YOU KILLED HER! YOU KILLED MARCO! COLIN! BERN! YOU MUST DIE NOW!" I continued.
"Forestra! Arcmagos! Pyroclast! Rocksworth! Please stop!" Eon, Blackout, Spotlight, Cyclone, and Riverflow begged in sync.
"Please, don't attack Chaot!"
I put my volcanic rage aside for a monent.
I mumbled to the five and Mae, "Run..."
Eyes filled with tears, they bolted to the exit.
Regaining every ounce of anger I ever had in the past months, I asked the other three to hold hands.
As we did, earth shattered, fire and energy buzzed, and vines crept throughout the entire cave, every rock vibrating. The vines and energy grew bigger and brighter, and more earth shattered as Chaot screamed for us to stop.
I see no reason to stop.
Not after everything that Chaot had done to us all.
The sounds of rock cracking and breaking accompanied the continuously intensifying noise in the cave.
As boulders fell around us, I could have sworn I felt arms grab my shoulders and pull me in the direction of the exit.
"Let's get you guys out of here. Especially you..." I heard a voice say right next to me.
A part of me wanted to utterly destroy Chaot.
The other part of me wanted to be destroyed herself...
