Blackout's POV

Again?

I was thrown into yet another dark room, with... Forestra, of all people. She stayed silent.

I let dark energy spray out of my fingers in this dark room.

It couldn't be contained.

It was as though if I had held it any longer, I would collapse from the inside.

With a heave, I threw the energy at the door.

The dark energy met with the door and exploded.

It was still there...

The room was as it had been when I was first thrown in here. I growled in frustration.

Would we ever get out?

I noticed Forestra try breaking the door with roots. It didn't work.

I needed to start again.

If there was any hope--

"ARGH!!" I heard Forestra scream.

As I turned my head to her, I saw bark taking over her limbs in my slightly-adjusted vision.

I suddenly felt a throbbing pain in my head. It grew more painful as time passed. I groaned in pain as I crashed into the ground.

Was this one of her dirty tricks?

I felt as if a part of me were drifting away from me, trying to break free.

I tossed and turned on the ground, my mind going insane.

The pain seemed to break away from me, causing even more pain.

In that moment, I felt extremely weak, drained of all my energy.

I clenched my fist, only to find a buzzing feeling. I started feeling dizzy and closed my eyes.

"We... we can help you out." two ghostly voices abruptly said.

I had my eyes wide open with shock. I could say the same for Forestra.

I was staring into the empty eyes of a young ghostly creature. They had a gaseous form. They wore a black jacket and black pants. They seemed to be grayed out.

I saw another ghostly creature who was mostly green. They had a form mostly made of wood. They wore a long, flowery dress long enough to cover their feet. They also had empty eyes.

"We'll help you out of here," both of them repeated, smiles creeping on their faces.

"W-who are you?" I asked in fear.

"Darkness," the grayscale creature answered.

She had a rather deep voice, which was deep enough to pass off as male, but I could still tell she was a girl.

"Y-yo-you?" Forestra fearfully asked the green one.

"Growth," she answered in a mellow, kind voice.

"Whe-where did you come from...?" Forestra and I asked in sync, fear dancing in our minds.

"Chaot made us like this just because we have something she does not," Darkness answered, a creepy smile on her face.

"Adults are like children, are they not?" Growth said with a kind smile.

I was horrified.

"Chaot... killed you?"
