I was awoken by a jumpy Sloane drunk on caffeine, Lia, I thought. This was her payback for me not agreeing to go with last night. I then remembered about the case and didn't even bother changing out of my pajamas, as I ran down to the kitchen. Sloane followed me and as soon as we walked in I saw Dean and Michael each on opposite sides of the room. Dean was eating a bowl of cereal while Michael was searching the cabinet for a bag of chips. "Well good morning sleeping beauty." Michael said with a smirk. I ignored him "hey Dean have you seen Lia" "I'm right here" Lia said walking into the kitchen with a file in her hands. Dean's eyes drifted to the file Lia was holding "what are you doing with that" Dean asked suspiciously. "Well I wasn't planning on telling you boys this, but miss goody over here wouldn't leave without an explanation." Lia said glaring over to me. "Look, they deserved to know. We are a team after all" I said defending myself. "Whatever", Lia said annoyed "anyway the FBI have been tracking down this girl for years now, she goes by Siren" "Well what's so special about her that the police have been tracking her for years now" Michael asked intrigued. "Well, other than undercover ass kicking, she's a natural, and our age." Everyone went silent at that last part, "so where and how exactly are we going to find her." I asked breaking the silence. "I was hoping Sloane could figure that out, maybe she could see a pattern in the cases she's solved and figure out her next move" "with pleasure" Sloane said snatching the folder. Sloane opened the laptop on the counter and started to scan the file. "So are you guys in" I asked looking at Dean and Michael. "Well you need a ride so, sure." Michael said. Dean then looked at Michael and didn't like the smirk he had on his face. "No way am I letting you guys leave with just Townsend." Suddenly Sloane slammed the laptop shut, making me jump, she looked up from the laptop with a worried expression on her face. "What's wrong" Lia asked. "All signs lead to a drug deal case, and with the worst and most popular gang. Cobra" Sloane said worried, a chill ran through my spine, all Briggs ever talked about was catching Cobra. "Well thanks for the info kids" Judd said sneaking up behind us and snatching the folder along with the laptop. "Wait, what just happened" a confused Dean asked "you knew that Lia had the folder and we would find out where to find her" Sloane stated. "Impressive" Lia said. "No one is leaving this house, the info is going to Briggs and the house will be on lockdown." Judd said strictly. "You can't do this Judd" I argued, "actually yes I can" he said leaving the kitchen. "I told you we should have gone last night." Lia said glaring at me. "Look, it would have been stupid. I mean we could have died, it's cobra" i argued " according to what cobra has done before there was a 99.5% chance we wouldn't have made it out alive" Sloane stated. "I would've taken my chances with the .5%" Lia said irritated as she left. Dean looked at me, " You're right, and you know how much Lia hates that, just give her some time to cool down." He said to me as he walked off to the garage. "Well if you two ladies will excuse me, I'm gonna go work on my car." He said winking as he left. Sloane followed and begged for more coffee, I then decided to go for a swim and clear my head.
