Fight Fire With Fire || Bakugou Katsuki x Reader

21- Scattered

"... Eraser Head and No. 13... According to the schedule we acquired yesterday, Mr Allmight was supposed to be here and yet..." The smokey one speaks up.

"I knew it. So yesterday was the doing of you louts..." Aizawa spits.

One of the villains caught your attention, though. He was covered in hands. Whether they were real or not, you couldn't tell. They clasped his limbs and face making him appear extremely sinister. "Where is he... We went through all this trouble... and rustled up so many of us to bring along... You can't tell me Allmight... The symbol of peace... Isn't here..." The man speaks up, his voice just as sinister as his appearance. You see your classmates shaking in fear. Rightfully so, considering his next words were, "I wonder if he'll show up if we kill all of these kids?"

You grit your teeth. Calm, calm, calm... Stay calm...

"V-villains?! Get out of here!! What kind of numbskull could think honest-to-god villains would be able to just waltz into the hero home base?!!" Someone shouts in fear.

"Sensei! What about the intruder alarm sensors..?!" Yaoyorozu asks.

No.13 turns to look back at you all for a moment. "Of course they're up! Why they're not working is the question...!"

"Is this the only campus they've infiltrated, or are they attacking all of the others too...? At any rate, if the sensors aren't responding then that just means they have someone on their side who can jam them. An isolated space away from the school building... At a time when there's a class scheduled there... It may seem out of the question, but... They must have some solid objective. This isn't an ambush without some sort of carefully planned scheme behind it."  Todoroki says in a serious voice. 

Aizawa pulls his goggles over his eyes and his scarf unravels a little. "No. 13, do the evacuation procedure! Try calling the school! These villains know how to get around sensors! There's a chance there's an electrowave-type guy who'll try interfering! Kaminari, you too! Try contacting Yuuei with your quirk!"

"A-ah! Y-eah!" Kaminari stammers.

"Sensei?! Are you going to fight them alone?! Even if you suppress their quirks, there's so many of them!!" Midoriya scrambles.

"A hero always has more than one trick up their sleeves! No. 13, I'm counting on you!" And with that, Aizawa raced down the stairs and jumped into battle. The front ranks of villains try shooting him, but Aizawa erases their quirks. As you watch him fight, you fail to notice your fellow classmates running for the doors.

"C'mon! Hurry up now's not the time!" Bakugou grabs your hand and quickly leads you towards the doors where all of the other students were heading. Suddenly, the mist villain appears in front of your class.

"I'm afraid I can't let you leave." He says. "Greetings. We are the villain alliance. I apologize for the presumption, but we took it upon ourselves to enter Yuuei academy, the base of heroes. In order to engage with Mr. Allmight, the 'Symbol of Peace.' We were wondering if we might be allowed the opportunity to extinguish him, you see." He pauses.

"Was Mr. Allmight not meant to be in attendance at this juncture? Perchance, has something been altered? Ah well... Setting that aside... This is my role."

Before he can attack anyone, you, Bakugou, and Kirishima jump forward at the strange villain. You all attack, and Bakugou and you blast him. "Not today!!" You yell.

"That was quite perilous. To be expected. Though you may be mere students, you are also the hero world's 'Golden Eggs.'"

"It's no use you three!! Just run! Run you three!!" No. 13 shouts.

As you turn back to look at him, a sudden darkness encloses you, and you back into Kirishima and Bakugou.

The villain's booming voice fills your ears. "You will be scattered. And tortured. And slain."
