A couple of bland days passed by slowly, Mia found herself hanging out with Kyungsoo more often than not. He was her happy distraction, the girl didn't know what it was about him that drew her in maybe it was the sheer fact that he was very relaxing. His presence was smooth and rich, like dark chocolate. So there she sat with him once again in the large library reading to the man in English, he listened intently while consuming his usual cigarette silently. It was a pretty picture I could tell you that, Mia missed only two things Seon and the English language. It was something she was use to and something that never changed on her, like so many things previously did. Kyungsoo on the other hand craved something different, he was tired not as in he was sleep deprived but tired of doing the same things over and over again. Mia in a sense was fascinating to him, the way her eyes flickered with a soft flecks of shimmering gold as well as brown. The way her tumbling waves of dark hair fell down her back in a elegant but messy way and the way her soft freckles danced across her tan face like a constellation of bright stars in the dead of night. He had been in this business for most of his wretched life, no one quite peeked his interest like this well maybe, but not in the way she was doing it.
"Mia". the man called to the brunette,
upon hearing her name Mia stopped reading and looked up and to her right meeting the mans soft gaze. He looked to her blankly while dropping his finished cigarette in the small ash tray beside his chair, Mia lowered the book marking the page and watching Kyungsoo with her flickering eyes."Yes"?
"Teach me somethings". Mia raised a confused brow to the man across from her, tilting her head to the side ever so slightly.
"I don't know much , but what would you like to know"? The girls melodic voice asked, the man looked forward blankly and nodded briskly keeping his face blank.
"English". The man finally offered, he knew she was sick and tired of Kai being a ruthless ass and Chanyeol breathing down her neck about learning self defence as much as he needed a distraction. She needed one too, so Kyungsoo made it his silent mission to try to be her distraction from all of this. After he said that single word he watched as Mia's eyes flicker excitedly for a brief moment, the girl smiled and nodded to the older man closing the book and setting it down on the coffee table in front of them. Clasping her hands together the brunette smiled softly.
"When do you want to start"? she asked, Kyungsoo smiled back and spoke like velvet to the girl.
"Let's start now".

After about an hour of effortlessly teaching Kyungsoo Lay wandered into the library and told Mia that Suho needed to talk to her. After bidding a soft goodbye to Kyungsoo Mia left following after Lay silently. She enjoyed teaching the man, he was easy to teach and eager to know the langue even though he contained it with a blank face as he repeated the words to her. But Mia could tell the spark in his eyes after he pronounced a word right gave away that he was enjoying himself just as much as she was.*
Mia sat in Suho's office that next morning, the elder man sat silently hands folded in front of him and face blank. Mia nervously bit the inside of her cheek anxiously, Sehun and Lay stood behind her silently. The atmosphere was tense and heavy only increasing her worry and slight fear, there was nothing but the heavy silence until Suho cleared his throat and smiled gently to the girl.
"Do you know what tomorrow is"? His deep voice asked gently, Mia shook her head no one in the damn house told her anything. Suho closed his eyes briefly and nodded his eyes looked to Sehun and Lay who stood silently behind her, almost as if they were having a silent conversation.
