Mia sat silently on the edge of Kai's porcelain white bath tub, looking down to her shaking hands. Jinyoungs lips still lingered on hers potently, it was a whisper. No one else could see it, hear it in any way, but she sure as hell could, and it killed her to no end. Mia flickered her gaze upward to the sink where Kai stood silently, still clad elegantly in his black tux. He dampened a white washcloth slightly,  folding it in half twice before turning to Mia. The man remained silent as he approached the bathtub were she sat. Crouching down in front of her, Kai examined Mia's bruised cheekbone. Lifting his hand to gently tilt her chin to the side, further examining the wound.

"What were you thinking"? Kai asked while bringing the cold cloth up to her cheek to wipe away the smeared blood on her face. His gaze was cold and voice laced with an accusatory tone. Mia looked to Kai confused, her lips parted slightly and eyebrows furring together. She glared to him silently 'just what did he mean'? her mind asked repeatedly.

"What do you even mean, I was trying to get back to you guys".

"Why didn't you go with Taemin'! The man barked out looking into her eyes sharply. Mia felt her breath hitch in her throat and heart beat begin to pick up suddenly. His expression, the tone of his voice. It was all so animalistic, it was almost scary.

"He had to deal with something urgent, he didn't say what". Mia mumbled out lowly, Kai ignored her and stood up quickly. Throwing the now stained pink cloth violently into the bathtub behind her. The air grew thick as Kai glared down to the brunette his eyes going dark.

"Do you understand that it could have been much worse? you could have been killed Mia. These people are ruthless and don't care who they hurt". Kai snapped back, Mia knew he was right but honestly why did he care? She wracked her brain for some kind of logical reason to why he was yelling right now. The only logical one being the money she owed, if she wasn't alive how was he going to get it.

"God dammit say something"! Kai snarled out clenching his fist at his side his voice raising slightly. Mia jumped slightly at his sudden change of tone biting the inside of her cheek the brunette was started by her own daring response.

"Of course I know that, I've been living with you haven't I "? Kai faltered momentarily before anger reclaimed him once more. Clenching his jaw slightly, anger flickered quickly past his eyes. But Mia ignore it and crossed her arms over her chest face void of any emotion. Slowly she stood up from the porcelain bathtub she was seated on, Kai was challenging her and Mia wasn't going to seem timid and small.

"So why do you care if I get hurt, when you hurt me constantly"? Mia pressed on taking a step toward's Kai, the man said nothing he only stood silently glaring at her deeply 'oh how the tables turned'. Mia thought to herself while letting out a dry chuckle.

"Now you wont say anything, so why is it Kai, are you going to explain"? Mia mused while tilting her head to the side slightly. Kai blinked and took a step forward meeting Mia in the centre of the reasonably sized bathroom. Quickly he snaked his arms out wrapping them around Mia's small waist, pulling her into his chest quickly. The man held her tightly against his body, using one arm he held her while the other rose up slowly and tilted her chin up to look up into his dark coffee coloured eyes.

"Because you belong to us and I don't want to see anyone else touching you". Mia turned her head away from the man frowning deeply, she was tired of hearing that from him. Quickly she pushed Kai away and took a step back glaring at him deeply once again. Mia didn't say anything she only shook her head and pursed her lips together into firm straight line. Kai offered her a sly smirk his eyes sparkling with a dangerous tint, Mia smiled back bitterly mocking the man in a way.
