Mia stood silently in the shower, warm water cascading down her face and body. While her thoughts blindly consumed her like always, Mia couldn't shake the woman's pain filled face. Her distressed voice rang through her ears like a song."Please, please help me"!
Mia clenched her eyes shut attempting to force the woman out of her ears, but to no avail. The blonde woman was like a ghost haunting the brunette, their interactions were sparse but powerful. Always leaving Mia in chills.
Turning off the water Mia stood in silence for a moment, the only sound meeting her ears was the soft pattering of water falling from the faucet. Glancing down to her legs, Mia eyed her burned legs. The violent red and scarred tissue met her gaze, only recently was she able to remove her bandages. The constant reminder of the trauma would be eminent on her body. And that made Mia uneasy. Letting out a shaky sigh Mia pushed her hair out of her face, and pulled the curtain back. She soundlessly grabbed a towel, wrapping it around her body tightly. Gently the brunette patted the scarred skin on her legs gently, the pain was dull. But she easily ignored it, once her legs were dry the brunette stopped in front of her mirror. Grabbing a brush and quickly combing through her brown locks. Once she was somewhat happy with her appearance, Mia pattered out of the tiled bathroom. Stepping out into her carpeted room, instantly the girl walked into her closet closing the door behind herself.
Quickly the brunette grabbed her undergarments and pulled them on before she began scouring the closet for something to wear. Mia knew she couldn't cover her raw legs yet, so she grabbed a plain black skirt and a white long sleeve silk button up. Tucking the shirt in, Mia exited her closet and walked over to her vanity.
She sat down on the small stood and started to apply a small amount of makeup. Once Mia looked slightly less dead than she felt, the girl began fumbling with her drying hair. Teasing it a small amount, before Mia was happy with her appearance.
Standing up the brunette silently waltzed over to her bedroom door, she placed her hand on the knob. Silently pulling the door open, revealing Lay his hand balled up into a tight fist as if he was about to knock on the door. His ever prevalent smile pulled across his face when, his eyes met hers.
"Good morning"! Lay greeted tenderly, Mia smiled in response to his cheerful words.
"Good morning Lay". Mia replied smoothly, as her eyes examined his handsome face.
"Are you hungry"? The man asked with a raised eye brow as he stepped away from the entrance of her door. Mia nodded, her hollow stomach reminding her that the only thing she had consumed the night previous was a coffee.
"Extremely". Mia replied as she stepped out of her room into the morning lit hallway. Pulling her door closed behind herself, Mia paused in front of the door.
"Alright follow me". Lay spoke as he began down the hall past the others rooms. Almost every door was closed besides one, and that being her blonde lover Kai. Mia eyed his empty room as the pair silently passed towards the stairs. Confusion pulled at her features as no sign of the man was in sight.
"Where is Kai"? Mia mused, Lay glanced to her briefly as he began his decent down the stair case.
"In the basement, he seemed angry". Lay spoke as the two reached the bottom of the stairs. Mia paused at the second stair case leading down to the training room. She glanced down the steps, and strained her ears for any indication of activity. The sound of punches as kicks were heard, as well as faint grunts.
