After her cold shower Mia fell back into bed, her hair was damp and body felt refreshed after the horrifying dream that plagued her mind. The girl laid down and got all cuddled up under her tangled array of blankets. She was tired still. Glancing at her clock she read the neon greed numbers 1:57am, deciding that it was still early and she could get some hours still in. Mia pulled the covers up to her chin and turned over onto her un-wounded shoulder closing her eyes and falling into a somewhat peaceful sleep.*
4:32amMia woke up suddenly, groaning the girl pushed herself up onto her elbow turning her head she looked to her night stand eyeing the small digital alarm clock. It was still early she could get about 2 hours sleep still in But there was a burning her her throat. She was thirsty and decided that she wouldn't be able to fall asleep with out clenching her thirst. Slowly she pushed her self to the side of the bed and sat up placing her warm feet onto the cold floor, taking a minute to herself Mia stretched her arm above her head before she stood up and began walking to her closed door. As soon as she stepped out into the hallway something felt off, there was a frigid atmosphere in the air. Peering down the hallway Mia noticed nothing, shrugging the girl continued down the moonlit hallway. Once arriving at the top of the stairs Mia slowly descended them while rubbing her tired eyes and focusing her attention on the kitchen and obtaining her water. Walking down the dark hallway, the girl noticed a sliver of light coming from Suho's office, the girl was surprised that he was even awake. Then quickly it clicked in her mind 'Suho wasn't home'. the girl faltered in her steps and shakily took a small step forward, her heart began beating heavily in her chest, like a drum. Fear boiled in her stomach and slowly crawled up her burning throat, the girl swallowed the forming lump in her windpipe and reached the half open door.
She heard the hushed chatter of voices and the shuffling of papers, the girl pressed her back to the wall and listened. Straining her ears to hear just who was lurking in Suho's office that this late hour.
"You checked the rooms right"? A voice barked, there was a loud shush before there was even a ghost of a reply.
"Yes I did do you think I'm dumb, three of them are missing like we assumed.. but you wont guess what I saw". The male voice mumbled, Mia slightly leaned closer to the door straining her ears to hear just what the hushed voices were saying.
"Hm".
"There was a girl, she looked young". Mia felt her heart drop into her stomach, her head began pounding furiously like a drum. They were talking about her, she began mentally cursing as a fear washed over her.
"Does she work for them-". Mia didn't have time to listen further when suddenly she heard foot steps coming up the stairs from the basement about to round the corner. In a panicked fashion, Mia turned on the balls of her feet and sprinted down the hallway into the dining room. As quietly as possible she pulled the door open and stepped into the dim room. Mia pressed her back to the closed door leaning her head onto the wood. She exhaled a shaky breath, when suddenly a cold hand clamped over her mouth, Mia yelped in response her eyes widening like saucers. The blood that ran in her veins become cold as ice, her eyes crept to the side eyeing whoever held her.
"Shhh it's just me". The red haired man soothed softly, Mia let out a sigh of relief and quickly ripped Chanyeol's hand from her lips.
"You scared the shit out of me"! The girl mumbled while turning to face the tall man. Chanyeol cracked a smile in response, Mia only shook her head and rubbed her temples softly.
"Chanyeol there are people in the house"! She quickly mumbled out, the man nodded his face falling quickly. His eyes wandered around the room before landing on her.
