the new guy// a brannie fanfiction (COMPLETE)

annie's pov:
"time for gym annie!! let's go!!" my mom yelled to me waking me up from my nap. "coming" i said annoyed and tired. i glanced at my phone. it was 5:45. practice stars at 6 and it's a 10 minute drive. great now i'm going to be late and have to run extra laps. i quickly threw on a random leo and threw my hair up into a tight ponytail. i ran downstairs and it was now 5:51. my mom, hayley, and i ran to the car and we drove off. i arrived at gym around 6:02 and luckily didn't have to run laps. i joined in with the group as they warmed up. i noticed there was a new girl with short dirty blonde hair tied up and was in a pink leo who was standing next to me. that's when amanda said "oooh who's that cutie in the lobby?" of course we all looked while we were sitting in our splits. there was a boy who looked about 15, my age. he was cute, but as everyone was falling in love with him i just rolled my eyes and laughed. the new girl did the same. she embarrassedly whispered to me "thats my brother"
"really?! it must be kind of weird seeing everyone obsess over him isn't it?" i asked
"no, i mean it used to be. i'm used to it. we've moved a lot but now we're here in maryland to stay. everywhere i go girls are freaking out over him so i'm kind of used to it now" she laughed "i'm katie by the way"
"i'm annie! where'd you move here from?"
........ the conversation carried on and i hung out with her until the end of practice. when it was time to go, we waved goodbye and said see you tomorrow, since we have gym every day.
katie's pov:
"bye annie!!!!" i said loud enough so that she could hear me from the other end of the lobby.
"bye katie see you tomorrow!" annie smiled back
" i see you've made a friend there" my mom said happily.
"yep!!"
when we got into the car, brennan my apparently "hot" brother texted me something, even though he was literally just sitting like a foot away from me. i slid up and read the text
B: who's your friend
K: none of your business
B: wtf katie seriously who is she???
K: im kidding i'm kidding😂 her names annie and she's 15 like me. why ?
B: just wondering
K: sure you are ....
