"annie!! if you're thinking it was me, it wasn't. i-" katie explained
"katie i know it's wasn't you who told calm down. you wouldn't do that. it was luke"
i walked over to luke's lunch table to work this out
"hey luke i need to talk to you."
"okay" he said back
"in private"
"fine"
he got up from his lunch table and we walked over near the bathrooms
"i know it was you who told" i accused
"mhm so?"
"what do you mean?!" i yelled "you freaking can't just run around the school and tell people that!!!!!"
"i did"
"you're so annoying and selfish!!! i hate you!!! don't talk to me again!!!!"
when i turned around that's when a huge group of kids were watching us argue. not a huge group, but the whole school. i ran through the crowd and found the farthest bathroom from the cafeteria. in there i sobbed until i was basically dehydrated. i skipped my next class. no one found out. i pulled out my phone from my pocket and texted brennan.
a: we need to talk
b: um yeah we do
a: meet me in the bathroom by the back doors
he read the text but didn't respond. i waited about 5 minutes. he wasn't there. about 20 minutes later, there was a knock on my stall i was in calling my name, but it wasn't brennan. i looked through the cracks to see who it was....it was the principal
