"go ahead... tell me" i said after a little bit of a wait
"annie.. i know i just met you, and this might sound crazy, but i think i like you"
"really? i like you too brennan"
we heard a noise come from upstairs. me being a scaredy cat i literally jumped into his arms. we watched youtube for a little together until i fell asleep right next to him. i woke up at 7:00 am, paranoid that katie would see us so i snuck back into my bed. brennan was still passed out. i couldn't fall back to sleep so i just played on my phone. i played a video from it, and the sound ended up being too loud which woke katie up
"sorry" i whispered sympathetically
"it's okayyy" she said tiredly and drearily
she fell back asleep
then i got a text, which was from luke
l: what's up bby girl (CRINGE)
a: ?
l: okay. maybe you should come over and we can work things out?
a: no
l: come on
a: sorry, no thanks luke
l: come over tonight, or something will happen julianna
i didn't respond to that. i knew what i needed to do. i have to go to luke's whether i like it or not.
l: cool. be at my house around 7ish?
a: alright 🙄
brennan, katie, alex and kyle woke up. i didn't mention anything about luke. i thought that if brennan were to find out that he would get mad at me and think i still have feelings for luke. i don't want to loose anything i have with brennan. i played it off like nothing ever happened, though i could sense my own nervousness when i spoke. we ate pancakes and talked at breakfast, brennan and i sat next to each other and laughed with each other the whole time. i hope katie wasn't feeling like i ditched her for her brother. i started to talk to katie when i got a text from my mom
m: hey anns! what time would you like to come home? hay hay and i are missing you 😘
a: can i be home in 45 minutes or so?💖
m: sure!
a: thanks mommy!
"guys i only have another 45 minutes here :("
i said (fake) upset
when forty five minutes passed, i had my things ready to go home. i waved goodbye to all of them and walked through the cold brisk air. as i walked and stepped on the crunchy leaves, i started to get nervous about luke.
"ANNIE!!!!!" hayley yelled as she ran to me
"HAYLEY!!!!" i said as she jumped into my arms
i ran upstairs to say hi to mom, and i told her i was hanging out with mia for awhile tonight though i was really going to luke's. i asked mia if she could pick me up to go to luke's. she came and then i was off to luke's
